I think any inanimate thing you regularly care for becomes a little alive.
#every inanimate object is alive#i went to a shop where they sold sets of a small and slightly bigger bird figures#and someone had stolen the 2 smaller birds from 2 sets#leaving just 2 bigger birds on the shelf#so now i have 2 identical ceramic birds on my window because i couldnt stand the thought that theyd be left alone
