Today was a pretty good day. I completely cleaned my apartment, and not going to clean my car next. I got some new Scentsy products and they work pretty well. I would probably go with a more stronger scent. Now just relaxing with Layla. She is so tired. The picture is of my dog Layla.

I started my first class in my psychology degree and its about human development. Kind of interesting to learn about development milestones a child or person should hit and what happens when it is apparent they are not hitting those milestones.

I really want to learn a new language. I feel like it would be fun to learn it and then speak with people in that language.

𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝐻𝒾𝓃𝓉𝑒𝓇𝓀𝒶𝒾𝒻𝑒𝒸𝓀 𝑀𝓊𝓇𝒹𝑒𝓇𝓈
(っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ I absolutely love unsolved mysteries. I love learning about the history of the mystery, and what some theories are for it. The one that has most fascinated me is the Hinterkaifeck murders in Germany. It starts back in 1920 where a german farmer noticed mysterious footprints on his farmland. There had been strange happenings around the house that no one could explain, but no one really thought much about it. Some strange things included footsteps being heard, strange noises, etc. The groundskeeper had actually quit beforehand saying the farm was haunted. The family went missing and was unseen for weeks and no one thought anything of it since the animals were being kept care of, and the lights were on in the house ( this is the strangest thing). The family was said to be murdered with a pickaxe but the bodies were found in the barn, and they confirmed to have been dead for weeks so that means the murderer was living in the house all along. The youngest son was murdered in his crib, and the maid was murdered in the bathroom though instead of the barn. It was concluded that one of the victims had actually been alive for a bit and had torn out her own hair. No one was ever convicted of the murders even though over 100 suspects were interviewed. The mystery is still unsolved, and it is so fascinating to know that someone actually killed a whole family without anyone hearing anything, or no one seeing anything unusual. Some people have theorized that Viktoria’s (one of the daughters) husband had killed them even though he was presumed dead. There is not much evidence of this though so I am not sure how much I believe that theory. In 2007, a group of students identified one person that could have been the killer but since the suspect was long dead they did not release the name.
This mystery has always fascinated me because even though certain people may know; we may never know who killed this family. There are a lot of factors going into this, and it's all-around weird. ♥
