Imagine being Steve Rogers

You go on an early morning run, meet this really handsome veteran, and proceed to start flirting with him, cool.

You visit his workplace because he’s the first person you’ve felt an instant emotional connection with since you came off the ice, and you really wanted to see him again. Y’all end up having a relatively heavy but incredibly helpful talk, nice.

You show up at his front door with your coworker even though you just met, because you trust this guy completely. (See: the aforementioned emotional connection.)

You tell him the government are Nazis (you know, because of the trust mentioned earlier), and him being a good man, who is also a skilled veteran, decides to join you in the fight.

Your childhood friend pops up out of nowhere and wrecks his car, then tries to kill all three of you, and your coworker and the handsome vet end up having to save you.

There’s another big fight later, and at the end of it you wake up with the handsome vet sitting next to you, so you immediately start flirting again.

The two of you are best friends now, and you’re already a little in love with the guy. Who could blame you though? He is pretty damn perfect.
