Fact of the day:
Sloths have more neck bones than giraffes!
Despite the difference in neck length, there are more bones in the neck of a sloth than a giraffe. There are seven vertebrae in the neck of a giraffe, and in most mammals, but there are ten in a sloth’s.

Exam period<<<<<<<
Anywayyy, here's today's fact of the day, and i hope you guys like it :)
Fact of the day:
Some fungi create zombies, then control their minds!
The tropical fungus Ophiocordyceps infects ants’ central nervous systems. Once it has been in an insect’s body for nine days, it has complete control over the host’s movements. According to National Geographic, it forces the ant to climb trees, then convulse and fall into the cool, moist soil below, where fungi thrive. Once there, the fungus waits until exactly solar noon to force the ant to bite a leaf and wait for death.

Honestly couldn't agree more. Pugsley was genuinely one of the best written characters throughout the series, never failing to bring a smile on my face
And as for his death, I'm pretty sure (and also hopeful) that they'll bring a twist next season :]]] can't wait for Dead End paranormal park season 3 hell yea

Somehow Dead End managed to pull off the most emotionally devastating cartoon finale since King's Tide.
I feel like a big part of how Pugsley hits so hard as a character is that... he's a dog. He's not your typical anthropomorphic, in which the character is human in every way except body. Pugsley has the mind of a dog, voices his dog thoughts, sees the world through a dog's eyes (with Barney at the centre of it). In the end he even died a dog's death - protecting someone. And the writers did all that without making him comedic relief. He's a well developed character, and at the end of the day he's still a dog.
A good boy.

What's up fellow Tumblr users! I'm FINALLY back with an interesting fact today :) hope you guys get intrigued by it!
Fact of the day:
People once ate arsenic to improve their skin!
You’ve probably heard about how a lot of the Victorians’ favorite cosmetics were riddled with arsenic, but it gets worse. There were also products on the market in the late 19th century, like Dr. James P. Campbell’s Safe Arsenic Complexion Wafers, that were meant to be eaten. They claimed to get rid of freckles, blackheads, and other “facial disfigurements.”

OMGGGG y'all I reached 250 likes I'm so happy :))) it's not much, but considering I'm not so active here, not bad :p
Anyway, I'm back with another interesting fact for you peepsss
Fact of the day:
The circulatory system is more than 60,000 miles long!
If a child’s entire circulatory system—we’re talking veins, arteries, and capillaries—were laid out flat, it would stretch for more than 60,000 miles, according to the Franklin Institute. By the time we reach adulthood, our bodies have become home to approximately 100,000 miles of blood vessels.
And guess what? This distance 60,000 miles is a lot, lot more than that between the North pole and the South pole (approximately 5 times larger)!

HEYYY PEOPLEEE <333 I'm back once again with yet another interesting fact :)) I really hope you guys like this one!
Fact of the day:
The entire world's population could fit inside Los Angeles!
The world's total population is more than 7.5 billion. And obviously, that number sounds huge. However, it might feel a little more manageable once you learn that if every single one of those people stood shoulder-to-shoulder, they could all fit within the 500 square miles of Los Angeles, according to National Geographic.

Back again with another cool (i hope so :p) fact
Fact of the day:
There’s enough gold inside Earth to coat the planet!
Turns out, there’s quite a bit of gold on—or, really, in—our planet: 99 percent of the precious metal can be found in the Earth’s core, Discover Magazine reports. How much is there? Enough to coat the entire surface of the Earth in 1.5 feet of gold.
