Just gotta say I saw Elemental today and I loved it! It gave me Zootopia vibes (which is one of my faves) but the two main characters actually fall in love and I augh! It's so good!!! I do not understand the hate for the animation or that people are calling it a knock off "Inside Out". How in the world is this like Inside Out? Anywho, loved it-want to see it again.

I sewed up this dress and vest and crocheted this little bow tie, modeled by Erlea! This outfit is actually a vintage craft panel from Daisy Kingdom that I thrifted a while back, so I just had to cut it out and follow the instructions. I'm bad at sewing, so don't look too closely because the construction is probably awful! The second photo shows the dress without the vest, and with the skirt spread out so that you can see the pattern a bit better- there's little naked angels/cupids holding ribbons, on a background of stars, above a starry lattice pattern.

Honestly I'm a little scared this navy printed fabric is going to stain, but I've washed the heck out of it and there didn't seem to be any excess runny dye...😬 But I couldn't resist, this dress is so cute!

Sayana wears her mother’s old apron for the first day of school. She loves to play “olden days”, and a frilly Soviet-era apron brings the past to life.

Her mother wore the apron only on special occasions. It was expensive and had to be specially ordered, and her grandmother took good care of it, which is why Sayana can wear it today.

I wrote 16k in all of 2022.

I've already almost written 3k and it's only January 4th 2023. I'm feeling good about this year.

All this to say that I am hoping to become active on writeblr again because it's been too long and I'm actually excited about writing again! Haven't felt this way since 2019 honestly. So let's go!!!
