WHAT IN THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH YUMICHIKA'S RIGHT HAND IN HIS NO BREATHS FROM HELL DESIGN

Okay so—

We have this, right?

(words can't express how much I love this design by the way)

And this includes a close up on his right hand, where we see some lines around his middle finger

And when I first saw that my thoughts were "Oh, it's probably his sleeves, right?" like how Rukia (my little princess, by the way) has in TYBW

I was drawing and that drawing (unfortunately) included drawing Yumichika's right hand in that very design

As a reference I took this panel, right?

And then I notice, that "Oh!"

... So it's not the sleeves?

Okay, maybe it's a ring then

And it's not crazy, since:

He has a ring here, on the very same hand and the very same finger (I'm pretty sure this is official, I might be wrong I guess, but??? Nah)

Then I look at the panel again to confirm

But

... Nothing

I look back at the design all the way on the top, but you can't really tell what's up with his hands there because the hand pose is sneaky, and as much as maybe the lines are just randomly around his finger at the hand close up it makes no sense to me for them to be like that

And idk, I mean, I guess Rukia's finger thingy disappears sometimes too

Or maybe I'm just stupid
