I am a cat because every part of me screems cat. It's in my bones, blood, my brain. I act like a cat and I love being treated like a cat too. I feel like I should be one, like a cat in a human body. I long for that body. I long to fly, a part of me yerns to. I want to take off and sore through the sky and feel the wind on my fur and whiskers. This feeling has grown the more I have accepted my nonhumanity and more nonhuman feelings.

I saw people talk about this on tiktok. Yeah, Faunaluna seems like a useless and unnecessary term. All that stuff is what therianthropy already is. It's an Involuntary animalistic identity were one believes they are in some way an animal. Therians experience dysphoria and shifts. And what they're redescribing Therianthropy to mean doesn't even sound like otherlink to me, it sounds like otherpaw/furry.

It is very clear that people do not think that species dysphoria can be distressing or weigh on a person. They see it as a slight sadness, a small thought. They do not understand that species dysphoria can make a person want to be an animal FULLY including wanting the sex characteristics of their type. They do not understand the pain that it can cause. They do no understand the longing, the emptiness it can cause. Like reaching for a star millions of miles away.

You are not nasty or disgusting for wanting to actually physically be what you are and you are not gross for using animal packers to do that.

I've been seeing multiple therians buy puphoods for their gear, which is fine; however, if you are a minor, understand that puphoods have a strong connotation with kinks. Understand that to a vast majority of people, they are viewed as a sexual thing because they are mostly used for sexual activities. Be safe online. Be smart. Puphoods are not "therian gear", while they are able to be used in an sfw way, to people who know what they're typically used for, it can seem like you are okay with that stuff, and put you in a situation that could be dangerous.

I myself would love to have a puphood for sfw, nonhuman affirmation, and using them for that reason isn't bad; however, if you are a minor, it's probably safest to just not post pictures of yourself wearing a puphood.

and what i will say in response is, why are you ashamed of sexuality? why are you ashamed of instinct? why are you ashamed to potentially associate with kink?

it is true there are people who might treat you weirdly if they suspect it’s sexual, but at the end of the day those people likely hate you already for some other reason (ie: if you’re not white, able bodied, or cishet).

provided you are physically safe, should you care about the opinions of others? NO.

you are allowed to personally not like sex or even find it repulsive. but you don’t need to tack a disclaimer that you’re not an icky sex freak onto your objectively tame statements of wanting to be treated as your species.

Species dysphoria can cause vomiting, it can cause stomach pain, it can cause fainting, it can cause sleepless nights, it can cause loss of appetite. Newly Awakened alterhumans when you are discovering yourself try not to push your entire life into the box of animal-hood. This can be beneficial but also a bit hindering to your growth. Not everything in your life and identity has to be 'animal', do you understand what I'm saying? You're alowed to have an identity outside of alterhumanity.

Now later on in your journey you might realize or decide that nothing in your life/identity/experience is human and thats ok but at the beginning don't force yourself into a box. Really think about and analyze yourself in all contexts, not just in an animal one.

That's cool! I also experience some form of prey drive but being more domestic I don't mind my food from a can 🤭 And being winged like I am, I always l dream of being up high but it does make me sorta uncomfortable since I won't be able to catch myself with my wings. Headbutting does seem to be common among felinefolk and the licking too. My urges to lick usually have to do with licking another persons wounds.

Hi! I think I’ve seen you around before! You’re pretty cool :)

I’ve had pretty strong stalking instincts since I was little, though my technique has improved with age. Birds are my special interest, so this makes finding and observing them a lot easier.

I also have an insatiable need to be high up in some way! I’ve been a proficient climber since I was about three (my parents and relatives have reported that when chastised for climbing on things, I would yell back “babies are good climbers!!”).

Then there’s the more “standard” stuff, like headbutting/rubbing on people as a display of affection. Licking folks to clean them is also something that I feel drawn to do, but avoid (it’s seen as strange and the smoothness of my tongue makes me dysphoric).

I want literally any good representation in media, I want people to realize we're not just kids playing pretend, I don't want to be seen as something to laugh at, I want to be able to come out to my family, I want to see documentaries and news articles about us that don't boil down to "wow haha look at these weirdos" or "stupid liberals want litterboxes in schools"

Is there any pet regressors or therians of typically cute animals, that hate being perceived as cute?

Mostly for trauma reasons I hate being seen as adorable and cute, which has made me have really complicated feelings when I realized I pet regress. I am not a puppy, I am a dog, I am not small, or cute

And like a lot of therian content are these cute pictures of animals and going "this is me >_<!!" which is good, do whatever forever. But is there anyone like me?
