What does your title mean? I thought “trender” was a term for people pretending to be queer. Are you actually a trender or is it a reclamation sort of thing?

trender is a term used by exclusionists to describe people who are trans in ways they don't like (nondysphoric, nonbinary, xenogender, etc.), accusing them of faking queerness or making up experiences to feel special (which is something that Barely, if at all, happens)

when transmeds were more common on tumblr, i got called a trender Constantly for being in the mogai community even though i'm dysphoric, so i reclaim the term/joke about being a trender
