sorry if i'm gonna be quiet for a while. my country recently introduced laws that make it so that in order to use social media to the fullest (not being able to view ns/fw content and in a few cases, not even having access to dms), i HAVE to give the sites my id/face scan.

it goes into effect july 25th. it'll probably effect here too, since this place allows mature content (tho not full on ns/fw)

i'm very distressed about it bc i might end up not even being able to talk to my internet friends. i don't really have any irl ones

if i have to disappear on most socials by then, you know why.

I've got two more of these asks so I'm gonna take advantage of it and do this with my two main sims from the story I'm working on!

Aevie is a born plantsim rather than turned. For that reason, it, like many born plantsims, don't really have an assigned gender/sex of any sort. Aevie uses it/they pronouns.

Aevie sometimes names vines or flowers that sprout on it unintentionally. Because its body responds to certain strong emotions by sprouting flora, some tend to stick around longer than others, which led it to start naming them. “This one’s called Patrick. Little fucker showed up during a job interview.”

Aevie hates wearing shoes. As much as it loves heels and showing them off, the first thing it does when it gets home is throw them to the side and embrace the cheap carpet of the apartment. Additionally, being bare foot is a common occurrence for plantsims, as it helps them feel closer to the ground and soil they so fondly enjoy.

Aevie flirts as a defense mechanism. The charisma, the seduction, it's a shield it perfected over the course of several years. They’re the one doing the looking, the teasing. That way, no one looks through them.

Aevie unironically LOVES soap operas. Interrupt it and you're practically asking for a death sentence. It couldn't tell you why it loves them, but it could recite some of its favorite lines to you if you asked. Isaac's part!

hi! so someone on patreon asked if I could share the patterns from my pick-n-mix dress, which I've kept meaning to do but kept forgetting lmao, so here I am! These are actually from my ~professional~ surface design portfolio from when I was like, actively pursing that career instead of what I do (and love) now, and are all hand painted by yours truly; a mix of watercolour, inks, gouache, and stamping techniques. A variety of themes including ocean, woodland creatures, florals, summer, etc - with 40 total patterns

I've had these ears in my game for a LONG time now, mainly cause I made them in my starting days of meshing and kept fixing them a bunch later on LOL. I started meshing to make these ears for my main oc, and I think I'm finally pleased with them :) I'm really nervous about sharing these since its a piece of cc that is very dear to me, as silly as it sounds.... but I really hope you guys like it! 🥰

i've heard from people losing their whole galleries, cc folders and saves a few times in last few weeks, which is a lot. even one person is a lot, four is an awful number of people losing everything they've been working on for years

so guys please i beg you, back up things that you treasure, your oldest saves, your precious sims, maybe your cc folders if you can afford the space

upd: if you have no space to backup your cc folders, you could also make a video recording with you scrolling through your cc. redownloading it will still be a pain, but at least you won't forget something, especially if it's rare or deleted
