I went all over the place with this. It was gonna be another "blood on our hands" piece but I decided to deviate from that (for now bc I want to revisit that concept). Then it was a "their protector/protecting their heart" thing but towards the end of the drawing I decided it should represent Imara and her love.

I looked into celtic knots and incorporated two different ones.

A silver sailor's knot to represent the unbreakable bond she has with her family. Through thick and thin she will always stand by them. It goes beyond the sense of duty.

A gold love knot to represent love and loyalty not only to Arthur, but to Camelot as well. The same symbol is on Arthur's sleeve so they match (in reality the negative space was bothering me but hey it worked in my favor)

I once again put one of Imara's rings on Arthur bc I can and so they have a piece of her whenever they're apart. Imara's secretly a sap.

tbh Dallas was already convinced something FreakyTM was going on but was in denial until the convo w/Jay, Ravi and Dr Jones, at which point they were like, I gotta try anyways, Willow is still out there >:( + little Teddy sneak peak :)

As much as I want to come up with a fun caption, I do not have the brain capacity to. Indulging in two of my favorite things: Monsters and @thelonelyshore-if. Allow me to imagine the monstrous magic turning Abe into a werewolf like creature. It's something she and I deserve.

Congrats to @thelonelyshore-if for the Chapter 3 release! I was listening to Anxiety by Doechii when my tls brain rot gave me the idea to make art for it. Towards the end of making it, the idea to turn it into a poster hit me in the head like a brick so here we are!

Extra yapping under the cut! It does contain spoilers for chapter 3 so please don't open that if you are avoiding spoilers.

I pulled a handful of references from the story for this piece.

The Fog and The Lake being the most obvious parts

The mushroom and eyes from Willow's journal. The eye designs are specifically from Croft's tattoos shown here. The eyes really rep mc always being watched by the fog

The tendril from the lake that dragged mc under during the storm and the X's over their eyes to represent them dying in said lake

"Wrong" coming from mc's thoughts about the way the mall feels

Croft telling Yasmin that mc's arrival is "breaking the pattern"

Ravi's quote " Nobody leaves Easthaven. Ever." during the reveal scene with him, Jay, and Dr. Jones.

Blood dripping down the forehead as a nod to the car crash

Distortion on "Easthaven" in the quote and on the jacket patch since it's kinda like a pocket dimension

Doe as a patch! One of the biggest "yeah this shit is supernatural" reveals we've gotten so far

Angst mixed with wholesome? This idea hit me in the head like a baseball so I had to make it real. Also an excuse to play Barbie with Arthur's hand bc I slapped a bunch of Imara's rings on it

Um something something it's cold outside and you didn't bring a jacket so your crush lets you borrow theirs bc they don't want you to tough it out. Said jacket belongs to @thelonelyshore-if's Jay!
