I had the sliding door in my room open to let in some fresh air and I started to hear commotion on my patio. I was thinking it was probably an animal (sounded too little to be a human) but then I heard what sounded like a VERY human voice saying "Hewwo? Hewwo?" like a little uwu anime girl and my soul flew straight out of my body. I was stricken with pure terror, like I was genuinely terrified because who the hell climbed over the six foot fence to get on my patio and talk to me like that through the open window? I peeked through the glass (shitting myself the whole time because I hate windows at night) and it was a cat. It was a fucking cat.

The only people who hang out at malls near me nowadays are high schoolers filming anime cosplay videos. I personally think the LiB would be dressed as mall goths because that would lead to some pretty awesome outfits, but I also do think it would be really funny for them to be teenaged anime cosplayers

so I've seen people say that since the LIB look like high schoolers when they're summoned at the Hatchetfield High Black Altar, their forms would changed based on where they're summoned, and I rock with that headcanon. business suits for the CCRP building, theatre costumes for the Starlight, fancy 1820s dress for the Waylon place

but what the fuck would they look like at the Lakeside Mall? mall goths? 80s mall rats?? who hangs out at malls??? would they just be teenagers again???? these are the things that keep me up at night

The Lord of the Rings is back this summer!

The WhatsOnStage Award-winning production of The Lord of the Rings is set to make its US debut this summer. Chicago Shakespeare Theater’s artistic director Edward Hall and executive director Kimberly Motes confirmed the news today that the Watermill Theatre’s new staging will debut at The Yard, running from 19 July to 1 September 2024. The American production will be directed by Paul Hart, who created and helmed the piece here in the UK in 2023.
