UnVeil is the story of a young royal named Amari who’s kept away in her room by order of her older brother, Marcel. Until one day, her other brother, Pharrell offers her to go explore his village. There, she makes friends with a boy who has secrets even he isn’t aware of. Will their friendship survive the dark mysteries of the kingdom and the grasp Marcel has on Amari?

This story is rated PG and is targeted mostly to kids/teens but there’s no reason anyone else can’t read it!!

Expect minor violence, death, extreme scenes, and emotionally manipulative relationships. Most involving children.

Hey you. Yes, you. Write the wildest idea you have. I don't care how badly you're worried people won't like it. I don't care if you think it's too experimental. Too dark. Too weird. Too lengthy or involved. Start drafting it, have fun with it, pour yourself into it and take it chapter by chapter. You'll be glad you did. Nothing's more rewarding than seeing 'that project' you've had in your head for years finally take shape.

something to remember is that writing is hard. and I don't necessarily mean in terms of writers block or trying to solve plot holes etc (although that's part of it), but as in it's hard work. even when writing is going well, you're spending a lot of mental energy on it – on deciding which words to use and in what order, remembering how to spell those words, figuring out if character dialogue sounds good, remembering the things that happened around the bit you're currently writing + what you want to happen next, checking plot notes, remembering your established canon, holding different subplots in your head.... that's like having a whole bunch of programs running simultaneously on a computer, and even the best computer with high end specs can't run like that forever. so if you ever catch yourself thinking "man all I did was write/revise/edit. why am I so tired?" that is your answer. because your brain has been running multiple processes and it needs a break

Things to do with ur OCs

- Dragon Puppets: Seriously, they’re so fun to make!! You can make a whole bunch of them and have an AU about it.

- Burn Book: Roast your OCs, make the worst insults alive, do it to those OCs that are a thorn in your side.

- Win or Lose Heart: I found this on Pinterest, it looks so cool! Make the inner child of your OC and the things that enjoy.

- Oregon Trail: Just watch them suffer

- Find their birthstones: Especially if you’re doing Artfight and are in the spirit to do some pre-game art of your OCs. Go team Crystals!!

- Wooden Clothespin: Customize a clothespin to match your OC

- Mint Tin: Get a tin and put little trinkets that remind you of your OC inside it. You can also decorate it!!

- XP Maker: Make little 8-bit versions of your OCs. It has a few limits, but still pretty fun!!

This was just a few ideas I had, plus I never found these suggested yet. Anyway, have fun!!! :D

Should I do this?

So, I’m thinking of telling my story through a side-blog rather than a webcomic. It would include artworks of specific scenes and some mini-comics. As well as character drawings. The plot would slowly unfold post by post. Does this make sense?

Encanto + Cats Animatic Idea

This may sound odd, but trust me, it might work.

Not the whole movie entirely, but the song, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.”

It could be a new kitten who joined the Jellicles or perhaps an OC, whichever one, who encounters Macavity (Bruno).

When the kitten asks Munkustrap and Rum Tum Tugger about it, they break into song (Pepa and Felix). Munkustrap talks about how Macavity ruined the Jellicle Ball last year. Mostly I like the idea of Rum Tum Tugger interrupting and Munkustrap going, “You telling this story or am I?”

In this version, I headcanon Demeter was in a relationship with Macavity. She tells the kitten of how he still haunts her to this day (Dolores).

Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer decide to scare the kitten (Camilo) by telling exaggerated things about Macavity. Munkustrap probably tells them to knock it off and then they get serious and actually warn the kitten.

The elder cats also tell the kitten, about Macavity when he was younger. I headcanon he used to be apart of the tribe. (Dead Fish, Hair Loss, Gut) That, or maybe what he did during his attack last year, or the many crimes he committed.

Old Deutoronmy recalls what happened when he was captured by Macavity (Isabella).

Demeter now can’t get Macavity out of her head, Bombalurina comforts her “Hey sis, I want not a sound out of you.”

The kitten confesses that they talked to Macavity. (Mirabel)

Everyone panics, Alonzo informs that there’s danger (Abuela)

Now my favorite part: “RUM TUM TUGGER, YOUR BOYFRIEND’S HERE” - Mungojerrie, Rumpleteazer. (Misto arrived late)

Everyone’s talking, and then “He’s here.” (Macavity has arrived)

Anyway, I thought it’d be a fun idea. I don’t know if I’ll actually do it, but at least I documented it :D

I have this strange design for tugger

Where he is not a Maine coon, but more like a rare version of a domestic serval

Who knows, maybe Old Deutoronomy ended up with a domestic serval and that's where this weird mix with a long tail came from.

He is tall, thin and big-eared.

I ended up changing the mane to something like one of those feathered scarves or whatever.

Quite exotic which makes him more striking

Possibly the strange cat of a young man who wants to be a famous singer or musician

Or they just like rock or punk

They adopted this strange cat that ended up growing, the owner doesn't really ask anything, but visitors are surprised when out of nowhere this skinny, lanky long-eared cat appears with a bell on his spiked collar
