Featuring Ceara Ilthien, my human elementalist in Guild Wars 2, my human wildwalker monk in World of Warcraft, and the main protagonist of The Keeper's Compendium, which I am currently working on changing to fit into an original world instead of WoW.

Also:

Ceara in 2013 and in 2019. Putting these two picture together was a huge little boost of inspiration and motivation for me. I used to think that 2013 was my peak and I wouldn't be able to get any better than that. I'm glad I was able to prove myself wrong.

Just some painting practice and character design work. Her name's Damayanti and she's an important character for a personal project of mine. She's the same character from [here] 3-Dimensional Art > Characters > Female"> I changed the shape of her crest, pulling inspiration from the design of lotus blossoms in old Indian/Buddhist paintings and carvings. This character is definitely going to pull a lot of Indian/ South Asian influence into her design. Hopefully,this will help her standout from the more Celtic and Nordic designs of the main setting. And no, she's not a Draenei or a succubus or [insert_names_of_some_demonic_critter_with_horns] so don't ask XP

Dagger now sheathed, bow no longer tense. During this, your last hour, only silence." -Paivel, Dragon Age: Origins Another piece of Dragon Age fan art, this time it's my Fem!Mahariel, Flidais. It's kind of a what if piece, the Mahariel that didn't get recruited because Duncan was off getting a different recruit. Without Duncan, did she stay in the caverns with Tamlen, suffer the same fate. Maybe she made it back to camp, but the keeper's magic didn't cure her like they all had hoped. The left side shows this, though it doesn't have her as far along in the infection as she could be. Haggard and torn. I also tried to make her look more like the elves in DA2, as I personally prefer that look, they don't look so much like short humans with pointy ears, which is good, I think ^_^ The glowy thing in her hands is the symbol of her clan, the Sabrae clan, from Dragon Age 2. _________________________________________________________

As the dust settled around them and the sunlight peaked through the trees again as Morrigan's storm receded to the shadows it was conjured from. Almost everyone's eyes were set on the fallen forms of the werewolves; the two warden's, however, were looking to the branches above. Adaryn could sense it, the darkspawn taint; weak and trembling, but it was there. "Alistair," she spoke, a question, to the other warden, gesturing above with the tip of her sword. "Yes...I sense it, too." He came forward to stand beside her, gazing up to the spot where the taint was strongest. "That's not a darkspawn. Not one I've ever faced before anyways." Behind them, the others were investigating the werewolf corpses, retrieving arrows and seeking worthwhile items. "This isn't one of ours," Leliana announced as she pulled an arrow from a corpse. After wiping the blood from the arrow's tip on the fur of the werewolf, she examined it closer. "It's ragged, but it looks like the arrows the elves were carrying back at the camp." She takes the arrow over Adaryn to show her. Adaryn doesn't look from the spot in the canopy, not to the arrow, not to Leliana, her eyes were constant on that spot. It was afraid, whatever it was. Afraid, lost, and hurt. "A ghoul, I think." Alistair said in a hushed voice. "It feels like the blight infected wolves and bears...but different." "A ghoul?" asked Adaryn, taking her eyes from the canopy for the first time. Alistair nodded, his eyes not moving. "Someone who has been infected by the Taint." Adaryn's mouth turned down in disgust and then to sorrow as she looked back up at the canopy. "That's...horrible..."

Yay! More Dragon Age fanart! This time it's a little bit more symbolic than the last. This one features my Fem!Cousland, Adaryn, surrounded by FIRE! Was originally going to add the mabari into the picture, but I wasn't able to get him to look right and he kind of threw off the balance of the picture. Was also going to show her face, covered in blood and tears, but when I sketched the hair I was trying to go for a windblown tangled look and ended up covering the face. I think it looks good and kind of adds to the 'dishonored' feeling I was going for, shameful, disgraced, betrayed, since you know...the Couslands are betrayed x3 Dragon Age: Origins (C) Bioware

Shattered Dreams in a Broken Circle November 29, 2012

Finally! I've been wanting to do some Dragon Age fan art for a very long time, but nothing I did ever seemed to look right. But I finally did it! This piece features my mage, Emania Amell...who I have yet to complete the game with yet. (I have better luck with warriors and rogues) I love this character though, especially with the tension between her and Cullen. Oh, how I love tormenting him xD Oh and that is mouse at her feet on the Fade side of the picture. Gave him somewhat glowy demonic eyes...rather suiting, no? This piece, playing this character, and the work of other Dragon Age fans, has kind of inspired me to try my hand at a little project (that I will probably blow out of proportion and break myself ). Oh well This piece was...interesting to do. Working with three different light sources was difficult, thankfully the fire spell and the fade lighting create similar highlights. The hardest part for me was probably her hair. I don't know why but dammit, I could not get her hair to look right. I think I changed how I colored it like 5 or 6 times before I finally said, Fuck this!, and just let my hands do what they would. So many curls, the bane of my artistic existence. And so many reference screenshots take for that damned apprentice robe Dx I think I got the colors right.... Hopefully you all enjoy ^_^ Comments and Critiques are always appreciated. A painting I did for a very special someone for her birthday. Ended up taking longer than I wanted it to and I wasn't able to get it to her for her birthday...ended up being over a week late x3 Oh well, she loves it all the same ^_^ This was an attempt at a steam punk fairy with her steam punk ferret companion. Not sure how well I pulled off steam punk, but I think it looks good. I ended up teaching myself a different technique for the shading than I usual do it; it's far more realistic than anything I've done before and it certainly looks better than anything I've done before. Unfortunetly, the painting really isn't finished, as you can probably tell by the lack of shading on the ferret. I was really getting tired of working on this painting, and I just could NOT get the fur to look right on the ferret, so I decided to leave it as is...maybe I'll go back and finish it later. Oh well, hope you all enjoy it as much as she did ^_^
