To the every man, the practical woman. To those who locked your keys inside the car, we salute you. No more should we keep our ignorant bliss to ourselves. Let us yell-- loudly, in public, and in the happiest way we can. Let us yell. To those who love all things, bad movies included. To those who laugh obnoxiously, and could care less if the world ends tomorrow. For those who don’t take life seriously, who can sit down and enjoy a good t.v show. Who don’t let the crippling realization of mortality bring you down; no one realizes how needed we are. We, the idiots, stand together. Stand to teach the wise men who pass our lessons and mistakes to others and warn the consequences of our frivolously actions. They’ll witness us fall in love, marry young, take the gamble, and choose the hard path. To snap a photo of our lunch,rant about our days, and make a mockery of politics; to make a mistake and repeat it for the sake of love, for the sake of hate, for the reasons beyond logic.  The pretentious and pseudos have furrowed their brows in questioning life. To seek it’s meaning and wonder what it truly means to live. The idiot is simple, and simply lives. Hail, to thee.

Old Messages

The internet is now the ultimate carousal photo gallery. Once upon a time, people needed to un-box their memories and flash light against a blank canvas to visit their former selves. It’s so easy now, when everything is at the click of a button. I don’t like this convenience. People can so quickly navigate themselves to a laugh, just as easily they can to tears. I find myself looking back at us, when we were happy, when we were friends. We barely speak and when we do, you seem annoyed and discontent. None of us have been disappointed, we’re just different people now and that’s okay. I like to go through old messages, and smile at the conversations we used to have. As I scroll through, there were less and less exchanges, and eventually, we stopped writing to each other. You seem happier with your new friends, and I like to pretend I’m happier with mine. Like a childish pout, I hope you get jealous and try to get back in my life, but reality is more grown up than me. We’ll drift apart. We’ll forget each other’s names. We’ll never see each other again.

Hey I found out about you from this youtube video of donald trump and hillary clinton fighting like anime characters (LOL) but anyways I just wanted to congratulate you on your comic. My question is this. How do you do it man? I mean I've been plugging away learning how to draw for months and still struggle. Is there some secret serum that makes you good at capturing realism in your artwork? Please I ask of you, tell me whatever it is that gives you your artistic ability. I gotta know please!!!!

Thanks a lot man.As for how I do it? A lot of time and effort, haha. Art takes time. I did two years of art school, and a yearish of self study, and still learning. I recommend really drilling your fundies, especially that perspective. If you can draw a box in perspective you can pretty much draw anything. From there, just look toward artists that you like, and pay close attention to how they solve the problems your run into when drawing. Drill a lot of anatomy and gesture studies too, those really help. Time though man, lots of time, these days, I’m basically drawing 8+ hours a day. Work your way up to that, and trust the process, eventually you’ll make it!
