Poor Stella awoke in a steel cage deep within the depths of The Livid Dead. But the one thing scarier than undead grannies was none other than Raynette staring back at her!

“Well if it isn’t the copycat! So nice of you to drop in!” Raynette giggled.

“Copycat? What are you talking about?! I’m not copying anyone!”

“Ha! Don’t play dumb. You’re copying me.”

Stella blinked in confusion

“How am I copying you?! We just met!”

Raynette’s eye twitched as a low growl escaped her throat.

“Seriously?! Pretending you don’t know who I am?! Hmph! How immature.”

“But I’m not being immature! I really have no idea who you are!” Stella insisted as she pressed against the bars of her cage.

Raynette’s grip tightened on her scissors.

“Are you kidding me?! You’re Rayman’s new girlfriend! How could you not know who I am?! I know he’s told you about me!”

“I mean he mentioned he had an ex but he never mentioned any names-”

“HE DIDN’T MENTION MY NAME?! WOW! WELL!” Raynette cleared her throat “My name’s Raynette. I’m guessing Rayman didn’t mention me so you wouldn’t get jealous!”

Stella’s eyes widened

“Wait! You’re Rayman’s Ex?!”

“I know it’s hard to believe but it’s true!” Raynette giggled.

“ But he told me you dumped him because you didn’t like his hair and”-

“ARE YOU BLIND THAT MOP IS DISGUSTING- I mean, I did leave him but I knew he’d miss me, So I came back!” Raynette interjected.

“But-“

“Look, I know you think Rayman likes you but I’ve got news for you, the only reason he’s with you is because he misses me.” Raynette snarled as she shot Stella a glare.

Stella didn’t want to believe what she was hearing but Raynette’s words stung like a bee.

“That’s not-“

“Oh don’t act so surprised! I mean look at me and look at you! I’m a beautiful goddess and you, well… don’t take this personally but,” Raynette’s voice lowered to a whisper “you’re kind of a piece of trash honey. I mean, that gross candy hair, those weird freckles, did you really think anyone could like someone like you?”

Stella looked away as a few tears formed in her eyes.

Her self esteem was always low but she never thought she was a piece of trash!

Despite Raynette’s disgusting and childish behavior, Stella couldn’t help but shrink.

“What do you want with me?”

“Simple! Just to get you outta the picture and take back my man!” Raynette cackled.

(I was heavily inspired by the Mosaics in the PsVita version of Rayman Origins! So I decided to make a Mosaic telling the story of how Rayman met Stella!)

What's Ly, Tily and Barbara up to? Any plans on making bios on them? (Ly is quite tall when you think about it, Rayman is 160cm and goes the nymphs to their shoulders while only going Ly to her waist!)

The events of this story takes place long before Rayman met Barbara. So her tale will be saved for another day.  Tily is doing fine and may make an appearance should the story call for her.

Bio: Raynette is Rayman’s bitter ex girlfriend.  Raynette is beautiful yet spoiled!  Everything has to go her way or else!  She’s quite condescending and is convinced she’s always right.

Raynette has always hated Rayman’s hair and refused to go out with him until he shaved his head bald! Desperate to win her over, Rayman did just that!

However, that was just the beginning!

Raynette often bossed Rayman around and treated him very very poorly.

One day, Rayman’s hair grew back, and Raynette was mortified.  She pulled out her trusty scissors and tried to cut Rayman’s hair!

However, Rayman slipped and fell off of a nearby cliff.

By the time Rayman climbed back up, Raynette had already found herself a new boyfriend and dumped him right then and there.

However, Raynette’s new boyfriend couldn’t stand her and dumped her shortly after.

Lonely and rejected, Raynette tracked down Rayman to try to make him take her back.

By the time she found Rayman he was already dating Stella!

Raynette was livid! What did that candy-haired freak have that she didn’t?!

In that moment, Raynette swore that she would get Stella out of the picture and reclaim Rayman.

Bio:  Stella is Rayman’s eccentric girlfriend.  She’s a bit childish and naive but always means well.

She can be a bit of a crybaby but she’s no pushover!

Her wrath is a force to be reckoned with!  Like Rayman, Stella also has her fair share of magic and can hold her own in battle.

Stella has autism so she often has a hard time understanding social cues and can be somewhat gullible at times.

Stella has extremely low self esteem and often wonders why she was created at all.

Despite of all this, Stella loves her friends and her boyfriend deeply and would do anything for them!

With a loud BONK! Stella was knocked off of Rayman.

Rayman tried to save her but he was too late! For the Darktoons had already captured Stella and dragged her deep into the realm of The Livid Dead.
