has the rayman run out of sounds or are you just taking a break

I know this ask is old, but I thought I'd use it to make a few things clear about this blog.

This is very much a side project, and the basic premise is so gimmicky I often take regular breaks so I don't burn out of ideas for sounds to post too quickly.

Having said that, things have gotten a little complicated IRL and I'm only now settling into normalcy again. When this ask was sent, I was stuck living in a hotel with a potato laptop.

Sadly, I still do not have access to the hard drive that originally had all my raysounds on, which decided give up the ghost last Summer. I want to keep this blog going, so hopefully I'll be able to build up a new sounds folder or attempt to recover the old data soon 🤞

we'd been hearing rumors about this for a bit but now its open and out there. some details from this article

I can only find one Teensie cry for help in the files. Is this what you're after? I have a plethora of "I have to go-"

As pointed out to me by @alexandrevbadmann, Murfy's voice in Rayman 3 GBA is actually Rayman's from Rayman M pitched up! I was unable to find the "Here we go!" but the rest are all here.

A few theories -

Perhaps they didn't think the whispery Rayman 2 voice matched Murfy's more energetic, loudmouthed personality in Rayman 3

The whispering noises might have sounded bad when compressed for the GBA

Or the developers were just given access to the Rayman M files and simply thought sped up Rayman made for a cute Murfy voice

Oh yeah! I can now rip sounds from the Gameboy Advance games, so I can now accept GBA requests if you have any!

Despite mostly using voices taken directly from Rayman 2, Murfy has a unique voice in Rayman 3 for the Game Boy Advance, closer to his squeaky voice in the UbiArt games.

this is specific but sometimes in rayman 2 as well as the iconic little idling sounds globox makes he also makes a squeaking sound can you grab that for us please? he literally sounds like a silly squeaky toy
