I read #ItEndsWithUs when it first came out, and it stuck with me in so many ways. My heart and soul broke so much for the girl that Lily was. But then she found her courage with the help of Atlas. Because it always came back to Atlas. That sweet boy that didn’t know an ounce of love, but was willing to do anything for this girl. • • I can’t even begin to describe all that I have felt while reading this book. I cried - not gonna lie. Because we got insights into what Atlas’ life was really like. And regardless of his shitty situation, he still made something of himself. And for some reason, she’s an author that I can always go back to. • • I wasn’t planning on picking it up earlier this week. The Thief Kingdom is a place hidden within the world of Aadlior. Many whisper of its existence, but few have found this place, where magic and pleasure abound.’ • • Honestly, I don’t think there are enough words to describe all that I felt as I read this book. I had ALL of the feels. I was sucked right in, and I felt like I couldn’t let go, or step away for fear of missing something. I absolutely loved the world building in this magical world. And the characters - my goodness! I feel like it’s been a while since I was able to lose myself in a good book, so I’m glad I decided to pick this one up to pull me out of my funk. • I feel like it’s been AGES since I’ve been on Social Media. And to be honest, I feel like it’s been good for my soul. It’s given me more time to read, and focus on my family. • • With that being said, I actually started and finished an entire series in January!! Hopefully Layla, and Fables & Other Lies... But come on, it’s a BOOK. But not just any type of book. It’s a compilation of stories and artwork from SURVIVORS of #SexTrafficking around the world. “ @ourrescue has helped rescue MORE THAN 4,400 survivors and has assisted in the ARRESTS of more than 2,500 predators and traffickers” I mean come on, if there is anything in this world that you, as a Human Being can help, it should be this. Whether it be to TALK about it. Don’t allow it to be a taboo, they deserve so much better than this. And the content - my goodness. I just can’t believe how absolutely stunning the whole entirety of it is. I’ll just sit here, NOT bawling my eyes out at it all.
