I feel you! Personally it took me a long time to get used to their newer songs and I like them in general but I think the overexposure was what did it for me, didn’t felt special to me anymore and I just got gradually tired of their promos.

I feel like I never hear Nct Taeyong rap in his regular voice. He keeps adding that "effect* to it. It almost sounds like a crocodile. Sometimes it works, sometimes it rubs me the wrong way & I have to sit through the song for him to finish.

Lucas might be in the dungeon forever. They're keeping him there as if the rumors were true. So what if he went on dates with older women and possibly didn't pay the bill sometimes? That's a slight turn-off at most!!

Winwin barely has any lines and it's gonna be that way until they retire

I feel as though some blackpink members don't wanna be there.

During their concerts, many complained that the members didn't have a lot of energy & and some barely did the choreography

There was speculation that jenni wasn't doing the most cause everyone in the cried had their phones out. Cause she kept saying "put your phones down I wanna see your faces" during the little talk segment during concerts. I literally have no clue about the others members.

I tried watching some clips of their concert. It just looks like they're tired of their songs and are waiting for new music. Honestly wouldn't blame them YG is slow with the content but quick to release a new group. I would not be surprised YG put blackpink on a 2 year hiatus. Just to debut a new baby girl group.

Who know the name might be BabyPink or something lol.

Back to the speculation of low energy during the concerts. It irritated me cause I heard those tickets were EXPENSIVE!!! If a concert cost me an arm & a leg. I'm neva gonna put my phone down! I'm gonna record until my phone dies! With expensive and fleeting moments such as a concert. You would want to capsule moments to relive after. Most fans probably can't afford to see them twice in concert. It just seamed insensitive a if she was saying " just spend X about to see us again, put your phone down"

But maybe someone talked to her cause I saw her twerking in a miniskirt & bea in Paris. And that's the Liveliest I've ever seen her!

I don’t think they’re terrible performers or anything but people say they are inconsistent performers in concerts, I disagree cause they’re consistently lacking energy so that’s something consistent about them (imma put Lisa aside for this one cause I think she always delivers)

I think they became bigger as individual celebrities than a group in itself , which was always YG’s MKT strategy (obviously totally worked), which is amazing for the girls tbh but I personally think it’s a shame for fans who pay super expensive for more often than not a lackluster performance by most of the group, but then again they keep touring because regardless of the performance level they have their name attached to it and people are gonna buy to see the it girls of the moment (also people in general always wanna ignore BP’s flaws as a group let’s be honest)

Now onto the more particular members:

About the phone thing with jennie I don’t know if this speculation is true or not but I think it’s stupid, you can go to any concert since 2015ish and most of the people will be recording a bunch of songs, that’s just how it is and how it works, for an artist to hate on that makes zero sense. She can be an amazing performer when she wants to be but personally I think she’s the one that lacks most energy consistently, I’ve seen hundreds of so called rumors to explain such behavior and it’s bs, if this was any girl from twice or RV people would be going to them with no mercy.

I do think rose is the best performer after Lisa, she seems to be passionate about being a musician, not sure about being in a group tho, I’d like to see more solo stuff for her

Jisoo has an amazing voice but I agree her true love seems to be in acting which is totally okay, she’s my favorite out of them and seems to be the most genuine one

Lisa stands as the best overall performer and I think she deserves a more extended solo career cause the girl has talent even tho she doesn’t have sickening vocals

about sehun being a sugar baby it's actually not true and actually there are rumors among kfans that he is dating an influencer and she's really pretty. if you dive deep enough, they actually talk about it quite openly. they even found her account and the rumored gf turn off the comments on her ig account :)

Tbh I had no idea about this one, I hope he’s happy regardless of his relationship status cause our boy deserves it so much! And I truly hope it remains private cause we know how crazy the Internet can react to stuff like that and he just doesn’t deserve uncalled hate for these normal stuff

reacting to the previous asks about chanyeol and sehun's rap: if you listen from debut until now, you can see the stunning improvement both in rap and vocals. i notice it the most in chanyeol especially after the surgery he had and he's been taking vocal lessons too so it sounds more stable and he sounds even more confident. the easiest example is ssfw and tomorrow/the box. listen closely and you'll notice the improvement. for rap, his raps in dftf album sound really smooth than the past albums.

I agree actually! As I mentioned I think he is constantly improving as an artist overall (as all the other exo guys too tbh! So proud)

I expected Chanyeol's rapping to get better by now. Everytime I listen to it I feel like he could have done better.

Same goes for Sehun. His rap was pretty nice to listen to in the X-Exo come back. Chanyeol went off beat in that song to "go-off" but I'm not sure if that was the right place to do so. I can't remember the song title. I just remember SM ent. made a bunch of hype around the comeback just to barely spend any money on the MV. What the fuck was that?

I'm happy they stop forcing Kai to rap. He's definitely more of a gentle singer.

D.O. solo didn't continue Tell Me What is Love because everyone sexualized the fuck out of his vocals. Kyungsoo seams like the type of person to be sensitive to that kind of thing. That's MY anonymous opinion! No one get mad!!! I might come off anon if people agree with me but who knows...

1. Personally I disagree with this one, I feel like he only gets better in general but I also understand what you mean, I think he’s found and set his style of rapping and now he’s just improving the other parts of his artistry

2. I think you mean obsession?? I believe sehun is getting better tho, specially with the EXO-SC unit, Chanyeol helped him a lot and I hope he has more confidence on his skills now

3. Agreed 100%, Kai is such a gentle singer

4. Kyungsoo’s vocals are pure honey, I hoped his solo work got more promotion but we also know he’s a super busy actor mainly these days (good for him cause he’s so talented), I do think his voice sounds amazing in anything he does , it’s insane

5. I’m super happy for Chen and for him being able to continue his idols activities and not be put in “hiatus” like they did to that guy in super Junior that got married, I do think exo came strong as a group to not let that happen

6. I agree all of them deserve a full personal life! They’re all really nice man and there’s no reason for people to think they own them
