Margo/Sergei AU: Classica pianist Sergei Nikulov and jazz pianist Margo Madison have a chance meeting when Margo is dragged to the Soviet's symphony performance. Today we are contemplating (shoutout @ddagent for the spark of this idea) famous American jazz pianist Margo and famous Russian classical pianist Sergei who see each other once a year at [insert relevant famous annual music event] and still have to deal with the KGB trying to use their relationship. Because obviously they still fall in love.

I couldn't get any sleep last night so I watched the elevator scene again (as one does) and I can't find the previous discussion. But Margo definitely takes her shoes off during the pufferfish discussion and puts them back on when the elevator stops on the fifth floor. It's intentional, she sighs and lets her feet rest.

My glacially paced episode by episode rewatch is at 1.07, "Hi Bob". Not much Margo in this ep, maybe a couple of lines? But it's such a good episode anyway. Gordo's slide is painful to watch, and the middle-of-the-night-hi-bob situation is actually kind of scary. Did Dani really need to break a limb? Could she not invent a medical problem? First I thought maybe make up a female issue but she probably really wouldn't have wanted to go there, women astronauts being kinda new and all. The Shane thing is hard for me to rewatch, I have a young son at home.
