Ok, so what I meant was,

Remember when I shared my idea that Bodhi is always referenced as looking so similar to Xaden because they'll need to lock Xaden in the Rybestad Chest at some point while Bodhi masquerades as him?

Well. I saw a transcription of Rebecca's Q&A in Columbus and someone asked if there was going to be a cliffhanger at the end of each book and if she knew already what they were, and she said "You're going to hate me at the end of the next book."

Which implies it's worse than the venin-turning ending everyone thought was so dramatic at the end of Iron Flame. She also essentially (in a roundabout way) implied Xaden isn't going to be ok and she replied to someone on instagram recently implying some people will probably die (not news).

So while I was driving to work all that was rolling around in my brain and as usual I was like "well if I were her, I would—"

And the answer to that is: have Xaden's control wavering, a bit of back and forth all book with Violet trying to help him, then maybe he goes into the chest for his own good, maybe he doesn't, who knows, but I do believe at the end of the book Bodhi, who looks oh so much like Xaden will die, because someone will mistakenly kill him thinking it's Xaden they're getting. Xaden of course instantly blames himself and BAM! Off the deep end, full venin. That's the book three cliffhanger.

And I'll also back that up by saying Bodhi disappeared in the second half of book two and you know who disappeared in the second half of book one? Nadine. You know who was briefly mentioned but never appeared in the first half of book one? Liam Mairi. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you a pattern.

Do I like it? No.

Do I believe she'd do it? Yes.

sooo I finished the tandem read a few days ago… that means I have the pleasure to start Kingdom of Ash and enter my own personal hell from what I already heard (especially from @booklovers-pleasure 👀)

I also want to try to finish the book this year. So i have to read at least 89 pages per day until 31.12.

I had an excursion as part of my apprenticeship today ✨ and there was no way around going to Dussmann afterwards.

I bought two books ✨

Fourth Wing in Russian ✨ yep, I can't read or speak the language myself, but look at that cover 😱

And the second book: a book blind date with the title "Read this if you enjoyed Fourth Wing", so I had to buy it 😅

i finished Queen of Shadows last night and now it’s time to do the tandem read of the Throne of Glass series ✨

Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn

it took me one and a half hours to mark all the chapter with annotating tabs and it just so happened that my sister had the perfect matching colors for the two books ✨

im so proud of that result 😅✨

Rhys: *frantically flipping through papers* “this is the hyper-intelligent girlfriend with unprecedented lightning powers? The one you speak to with your mind and call a nickname permanently?”

Xaden: “I do only have the one girlfriend. Kinda offended you’d think otherwise.”

Rhys: *signs a paper* “Adopted. The rebellion thing is handled. Me and your aunts and uncles have got this. Your new mom is going to need some time to add you and your mate to the family portrait gallery. Your bedroom is upstairs, knives are in the training ring, family dinner is every Thursday, your allowance is infinity and your curfew is never.”

Xaden: “I am…. Older than your wife?”

Rhys: “Did I fucking stutter?”
