Of course, Pudding! I’m sorry for the wait, but here’s your reading if you’re still interested!

Baker Street Irregular of Observation: Ready for anything, able for most things, he can be valiant and watchful, precociously alert to events happening around him. An expert at surveillance, able to calculate risks and deal with whatever problems the day may bring. Often this card suggest the arrival of unexpected news, but the Irregular is always on hand to help find a way through the most tortuous problems.

Eight of Analysis: Looking for help. Searching for new values. Reconsidering your options before it’s too late. Abandoning plans after rethinking them. Disenchantment with life, suggesting a need for attention. Emotional ambivalence or failure to commit. Feelings of abandonment or falling out of love. Being unable to satisfy friends or partners.

Inspector of Deduction: An experienced and mature person. As a friend, he keeps his promises. A good adviser, he offers keys to clever deductions. Appreciating the good things. Learning to handle money. Discovering the value of life. Financial support. Conservation of resources or environment. Sponsorship. Good health.

Based on your past card, I’d say either you, the air sign, or both of you are very good at rolling with the punches and taking on anything that comes your way, which is very helpful in a relationship. You’re very alert to the things happening around you and are able to calculate risks very well. This card also represents the arrival of something unexpected, but not necessarily bad. It might have been you meeting the air sign is an unexpected surprise.

Based on your present card, I’d suggest being careful with relationships. You could be unable to satisfy or be satisfied by friends or partners. *Rises from the dead* I'm so, so, SO sorry to everyone waiting for readings! There's been some not-so-good stuff happening in real life that kept me away from readings. I was in a really negative space and I didn't want to bring that to or let it affect my readings. I'm still kind of in a negative space, but it's getting better and I think I'm up to doing readings now. I'm gonna finish up the readings I owe over the next few days, I've done them all and have the book translations, I just gotta do some paragraphs about how they're connected like I usually do for them, so it shouldn't take more than an hour each. Rosewater Tutorial

To go along with the rose theme, I just had to whip up a batch of rose water and share how easy it is with you all~

So here we go! 

First we want to collect our rose petals of course. Do not use florist roses! They are covered in pesticides and other undesirables. Get some roses from your garden, or anyone’s garden who will let you take some (as long as they’re chemical free). A little goes a long way, so I’d gather about a cup of petals for starters.

Next we want to rinse them off, to clean them of any pollen or bugs, or who knows what. Clean those suckers off. 

Now put them in a saucepan and add the water. Generally, 2 cups of pure water to 1 cup of petals is a good rule of thumb. (I honestly didn’t even measure… I live life on the wild side.) 

Simmer until the soul of the petals leaves them and enters the water…! Basically the color and fragrance will transfer to the water. This will take about 20-30 minutes, but make sure you keep the burner on LOW. You do not want to boil these, it will ruin them. I kept mine between the 1 and 2 setting, but your stove may be different. Just get the water hot but not boiling.

Now strain and voila! You have some awesome rose water. Do some lovely magic with it. Create tinctures, ointments, jams, teas, or even a soothing magic bath. You can even cook with it. (Share some recipes with me if you have some!)

Rosewater keeps for about a week, refrigerated. You can also add a teaspoon of vodka to it to help preserve it for longer.

Some Urban Witchcraft Things I Do

Using small shielding wards while moving in crowded spaces to stop people from entering my personal space, using it to get a space on the train while others try very hard to not be too close.

Being a regular customer at a coffee shop, where the barista knows your order, using that regularity and infusing it in the drink to ensure a smooth work day.

Tapping into the electrical energy of street lights, traffic lights, the tangles of power lines or the wire work embedded in the concrete. Tapping into it to feel the pulse of the entire city and how its as never-ending and expansive as nature and the cosmos

Borrowing energies from businesses, abandoned spaces and construction equipment for on-the-fly spells. (Once I used a buzz saw being used for a building renovation for a shield spell)

Pausing at florist displays to communicate with the small fresh spirits living in the cultivated potted gift plants, their energies foreign in the space.

Meditating on public transit, buses and trains, tapping into the circuits they run, the power that sustains them, and the thousands of people constantly on and off them.

Meeting eyes with the birds who brave the city streets, connecting a kin-ess of survival under such unnatural conditions. 

Marking sigils in the crook of my elbow in sharpie after designing them on the receipts that are tangled in my pockets.

Recognizing the glamor in mundane objects in stores, items being charged by desire and brand recognition by those who handle them, recognizing the residual affect it has on you after touching it.

Instinctively finding green spaces and specific plants you enjoy (for me its lavender, I can smell it from a block away) and having a mental map of where to pilfer powerful plants from city gardens. 

Feeling the spirit of the city, all the energies of thousands of people and history and industry only -just- covering the nature that existed there for millennia before it, feeling all this as you walk through the quiet dark streets in the early morning hours.

Things I've learned

Easy Kitchen remedies:

Eat fresh ginger if you’ve got an upset stomach

Drink peppermint tea or chew on peppermint leaves when you have a stomach ache

Hold cloves against your gums to numb a tooth ache

Boil parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme and drink them to reduce fever

After cleaning a wound, apply honey to help it heal and keep it from getting infected

Drink catnip and lemon balm tea to calm down after a stressful day

Take 5 grams a night of powdered valerian root to help you sleep and combat depression

Eat garlic to promote digestive health and prevent diarrhea

Dealing with Spirits:

Always leave an offering to house spirits and garden spirits

Only hang bells where you don’t want spirits entering (though there are a few do actually like bells, but they’ve been nothing but positive in my experience)

Clean from the east side of the house, westward

If a fairy ring grows in your garden, wait for the mushrooms to start dying before you pull them out

If you “lost” an heirloom, check your jewelry box, curio cabinet, or the favorite spot your deceased relative liked to keep said object, even if you don’t put it there ever. It may not really be lost.

Always answer the door on Halloween, but don’t let anyone in. (this goes for creepy people too, not just spirits)

Your pet is not crazy. When s/he flips out, reassure them, and be aware that you may not be able to see what they can.

Believe in your own Abilities:

Don’t buy in to the power of persuasion. You may not notice anything supernatural, because there may not be anything supernatural going on.

If you think something happened because you cast a spell, even if you can’t “prove” it, then it happened *at least in part* because you cast a spell. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Sometimes, the only effect a spell has, is to give us enough confidence to deal with whatever it is we were asking for help with. That’s a success in my book, and it should be in yours too.

If you’ve got a bad feeling about something, then don’t do it.

The lemon curse

What you need: Lemon (to bring problems to their lives) Nails (to bring pain) Twine black ( for banishing) Dragons blood ink ( for magical potency) {or regular ink if you don’t have any } Knife Scissors

Step one : write the name / names of the people you want to curse. As you write the names concentrate on how they will no longer hurt you.

Step two: cut the names into pieces so that they will fit into the lemon.

Step three: cut the lemon into slices that correspond with the number of people getting cursed.

Step four: place the names between the slices, then hold them closed together with the nails and twine, focusing on how they will have pain and sorrow. Now they are bound to the curse and can no longer hurt you.

Step five: you can dispose of the cursed lemon any way you see fit so that they are out of your life.
