The saga about the “Lindwurm”

There’s a saga in Austria about a dragon-like creature which killed some cattle and lived in a swamp

One day, a duke was like “whoever kills that thing gets some land!” so a bunch of servants tried their luck. 

So basically, they baited the creature with a bull and while it was distracted the servants slaughtered the XXL iguana. 

Legend says that in this area, where the battle took place, the city of Klagenfurt arose.
