Basic Craft Foam Attack on Titan 3DMG Blade Tutorial

Disclaimer: By no means is this most exact or realistic way to make 3DMG but it makes due for a fairly decent con-safe cosplay prop that doesn’t weigh a ton or cost a fortune. This tutorial is only for the blades, but you can use the same basic principles and materials to make most of the other parts as well.

What you are going to need:

1 36" sheet of white foam board (from Michael’s)

1-2 (12” x 18”) sheets of white craft foam (I used Creatology Fun Foam)

Black acrylic paint

White acrylic paint

Brown acrylic paint

Silver 3D fabric paint (in the little squirt bottles for detailing)

Silver metallic paint (I used Dazzling Metallics by DecoArt)

Exacto-knife

Glue gun (make sure you have lots of glue sticks)

2 black pipecleaners

Fine tip black sharpie

Small paint brushes

Pencil

Tracing paper (or regular printer paper works as well)

1 small sheet of sand paper

hiya. so i was changing some of the pictures on one of your themes for my about page, and it's not quite working right. it shows a broken image thing where they should be.. but the pictures show up next to that, working perfectly fine. uhh.. yea, so i don't really know what to do?

i'm not entirely sure what happened to your about? but:

are you sure the image url ends in .png, .jpeg, or .gif?

paste the image url ONLY after src=" and make sure there is a " at the end as well

try deleting the image url, paste it again

i can't think any other reason why it's not working; i hope this helps you somewhat?

i no longer use my main blog but i have an active secondary blog and i'd like to put your blogroll on it and i was wondering what can i do to make it work? (i have followed all the instructions for installing a blogroll-sugarless) thanks

you can't install a blogroll on a secondary blog, sadly. i don't think there's a way to make it work besides putting the blogroll up your main blog and having the main navigation links redirect to your secondary blog. sorry!
