hi!! your “a world in shambles” playlist is FANTASTIC - i was wondering, what’s your process for putting together playlists? you’re so good at combining songs of very different styles and genres to create a coherent unified mood and i really admire that!! thank you for sharing your creations with the world

omg! i’m just seeing this?? thank you so much!! the way i make my playlists is kind of weird lol. sometimes i’ll hear a song and it makes me think of a vibe (or vice versa). so what i’ll usually do is i write down songs i can think of that fit the feeling i have? and then i arrange them into an order that i think transitions well. than i queue them all on spotify in the order and i listen to it as a whole.  i usually do that for a bit until i have something i think sound right!

its so time consuming and dumb but it’s really cathartic to me!!

other times i just have something very particular i’m feeling and if i cant write a poem or journal i just make a playlist!!
