It's really interesting to me that of all people, julian is the one to suggest that the jem'hadar might have had their intelligence artificially implanted. In "the abandoned" (the episode in question, which is about the station finding a jem'hadar baby that proceeds to rapidly age), julian suggests it and is immediately certain that that's behind the rapid language and logic learning. Sisko is shocked at even the possibility, but julian seems to see so clearly. And of course he does, as two whole seasons later it's revealed that he himself was biologically "enhanced" as a child against his will.
