A bow isn't Avi'li's weapon of choice. Though he's mastered an extraordinary level of precision through other techniques, something about the bow feels too alien for him to comfortably rely on it during battle. Taking up archery and stray bardic traditions has been more meditative for him in practice. The maintenance, the steady thrump of arrows hitting wooden targets, an absent-minded hum as his mind drifts brings Avi'li closer to the ghost of a distant past. Through archery he feels closer to them and closer to recognizing a piece of himself.

misc nika thoughts after my trip to portugal. nika as a very gifted string instrument player. probably spearheads the "guitar soloist" type of music movement in eorzea.
