Not like the female would’ve cared if he was deep asleep anyway. She didn’t come all the way here and passed by the other frat boys to return back to chi gamma if he hadn’t responded. After all, it was pretty common for them to just show up at each other’s rooms like this. “Sorry if I woke you up,” she apologized fleetingly, her face softening as he beckoned her over. “Waiting for you to greet me with open arms, duh.” It didn’t take much more for the brunette to slip into the sheets with him, nuzzling her face into his chest. “I’m guessing you’re as hungover as I am.”

At her suggestion, Reece grinned and opened his arms as wide as they would go. As she snuggled in, he wrapped an arm around her and pulled a bit of the sheet up to cover her. He laid his cheek right at the top of her head, and let his eyes fall shut. He wasn’t sure when these visits had become a regular thing, but he never stopped looking forward to them. “Hungover is putting it lightly. I think this is the end for me, I might never go out again.” He smiled, his voice low and groggy. “What about you? You think you’ll be able to face the light?”

Reece had been fading in and out of sleep all night, and half thought he was dreaming when he saw a shadowy figure quietly slip in through the doorway. He rubbed his eyes with a lazy hand and smiled softly when he recognized Mae’s familiar face. “Just enough.” He pulled himself up in bed just a little and stuck a beckoning hand out to her. “What are you doing all the way over there? Come on over.”

It wasn’t often that Mae sneaked into a different house early in the morning, well, if you can count 1 pm as early. Anyone who had as much booze as she did at the party certainly did, that was for sure. That was also why her best friend had occupied her bed and secondly every other greek sister was in a bad hungover mood. So she decided to move towards someone who wasn’t gonna complain. She was honestly not even sure if he was awake yet as she slid into his room quietly. “Reece, you awake?” she asked in a soft tone, just needing that kind of chill time after sleeping on the floor all night.

“Ugh, you never quit, do you?” Reece laughed, squinting at Foster through a nasty hangover. Part of him never wanted to move again for the rest of his life, but another part was kind of impressed by Foster’s enthusiasm. He could definitely relate, he’d been the same way his freshman year, even though he was having a little trouble remembering it at the moment. “Yeah, yeah, I’ll come,” he said, stifling a yawn. “But take it easy on me alright? We don’t all have that freshman stamina, y’know?”

“Dude… the beach… seriously…” Foster said nodding with his head towards the door and further beyond that, the Pacific Ocean. “We’re here in fucking Hawaii and you just want to lay around on your carcass all day to ‘recover’ from a night of drinking? There’s sun, surf and sand waiting for us!” The freshman’s enthusiasm often got the better of him compared to most anyone else who’d been there a while. His youthful stamina, however, allowed him to bounce back better than most after his own liquor fueled fun from last night. “So come on, you in??? Get dressed!”
