God is On Your Side

I'm Grace, a songwriter-lyricist from Accra, Ghana. I wrote God is On Your Side in 2023 last year and this year 2024 in February, I sought funds to record it by registering on the Christian crowdfunding platform, GiveSendGo. In June GiveSendGo announced a chance for campaigners to win a $1200 giveaway! All they had to do was record a video saying something they loved about the platform. I did and I won! With part of the funds I had this song recorded. It will soon be available for purchase. In the meantime, please enjoy and share!

CHRISTIANITY IS ON THE DECLINE; BUT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST MARCHES ON 

The lord wondered whether He would find faith on earth at His return (Lk.18:8). Churches of old dwelt on the word, holiness and the Holy Spirit to sustain their faith. But, Churches of today lack the word, the Holy Spirit and holiness, and are consequently faithless. Our souls are nourished by God’s word (Deut. 8:3; Matt.4:4): So, in the absence of the word, rich nations have virtually rejected Christianity, while poor ones only show a semblance of godliness. The emptiness and hunger in souls, are the reasons men seek happiness in worldly pleasures and pursuits. Meanwhile, their ungodly pastors lust after women and money (1 Tim. 3:6 and 2 Pet. 1-5), which makes them preach prosperity and not the gospel. Consequently, they lack the power of God, and their members turn to Satan’s agents for solutions. But, all over the world, Jesus is saving and sanctifying His bride including converts from other religions (Eph. 5:25-27). The faithful need not worry anymore about the decline in the church: prophecy must be fulfilled, but the wise must keep their lamps burning, for Christ will soon come. Amen.

THE ANGEL WITH THE ETERNAL GOSPEL (REV.14:6-7)

Briefly, his message to men of all nations is that they should fear and worship God, for His judgment is near. Rom. 2:6-10 affirms that even before the Day of Judgment, God judges men, giving eternal life and glory to those who seek these, but tribulation and anguish to the unrighteous. Therefore, we have to fear God and be righteous. Take the story of Sarah for example. She badly needed accommodation, so a complete stranger, Monica, had pity on her and shared her rented room with her. When Monica left town for some months, Sarah lied to the landlord and took over the room. Upon returning, Monica rebuked Sarah for her ingratitude, at which Sarah took offence and insulted Monica, whereupon the two fought. Sarah was so badly bruised to the extent that her mother threatened Monica with death, possibly with a curse. Weeks later, Sarah was in a group of five graduates at a beach resort. The group were taking pictures when suddenly, an unusually huge wave swept them into the sea. Two girls in the group, including Sarah, drowned. Pathetic as it was, Sarah and her mother’s evil deeds had caused her demise (See Rom. 2:6). These days, the youth are perishing for their lack of fear of God and the evils they perpetuate as a result. Friend fear God, repent and receive the gospel, before it’s too late. Amen.

You Can’t live in Peace without Bible Guidance

God kills, gives life, wounds and heals (Deut. 32:39); He even created evil people for the day of doom (Pro. 16:4). US-President Teddy Roosevelt on a visit to Germany, shook hands with the German Kaiser in 1910. The Kaiser said that when great men shake hands, they shake the world. About 4 years on, the two nations shook the world in WW1. They did again in WW2. In a total of 10 years about 70 million perished in the wars; the Kaiser had unknowingly spoken of God’s plan. Again, the June 4th 2015 Circle fire was foreknown by God, and people who perished did not have control of their lives that day. God planned world events before He created the earth (2 Kgs. 19:25), and it’s His plans that happen on earth. So, friend, it’s not in your power to direct your life (Jer. 10:23). He directs the steps of the righteous man in safety (Ps.37:23). So, repent and believe in Jesus to be made righteous. A Nigerian manager heard the gospel and repented. He voluntarily return stolen funds and quit the job. He felt free in spirit and ready to live with God eternally. Let’s seek God, guided by the Bible, to have His peace. Amen.
