Love to sketch him as a jeweler/smith idk why maybe because I relate more to that part of him being an artist/inventer, rather than a scholar (or an elvish prince

A Dwarven pendant I made recently with a lot of straight lines, rocky surface textures and knotwork, to look like an ancient Dwarven Key. I like this rugged but slightly mystical look it has

A Dwarven candle holder I made, cast in metal, I tried to make it with ornaments reminiscent of Dwarven architecture from the movies and art. I inscribed, in Khuzdul and Cirth, "Behold Khazad-dûm by Azanulbizar, realm of Durin's sons, realm of Durin the Deathless". It now happily sits on my desk next to my copy of the Fellowship !

"the Edain of old learned swiftly of the Eldar all such art and knowledge as they could receive, and their sons increased in wisdom and skill" The Silmarillion, Of the coming of Men into the West
I tried to design a piece of jewelry of the Edain, most specifically of the House of Hador. The granulation is present in many items of jewelry of real-world antique cultures so it conveys the idea that it is supposed to be particularly ancient. The shape and presence of knotwork alludes to a distant kinship to the Rohirrim but the organic and flowing style of the curves in the knotwork underlines the proximity with the Elves at this period.

In September 1914, J.R.R. Tolkien visited his aunt's farm in Gedling near Nottingham. There, he wrote the poem "The Voyage of Éarendel the Evening Star", it was described by Christopher as "the first in the mythology".
These are the positions of the stars that he would have seen the night before he finished his poem from the location of Gedling.
Written in tengwar, the names of the stars and constellations are from the Silmarillion

Imladris/ Rivendell inspired pendant
Particularly inspired by Art Nouveau jewelry designer René Lalique, gothic architecture as well as sketches for Rivendell by Alan Lee. It features two feminine figures as well as intricate and flowing elements. The overall shapes between organic and geometric are associated with the Noldor. It is also inscribed with the sindarin words cova (to come together), natha(to help), ephola(to remember), linna (to sing).
Made by me, in Brittany
