It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although they who associate others with Allah dislike it. [9:33].

Narrated Shaddaad Ibn Aus (ra) the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
"The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is:
'O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no one worthy of being worshiped except You. (You) created me and I am Your servant, and I try my best to keep my covenant (faith) with You and to live in the hope of Your promise. I seek refuge in You from evil done by me. I acknowledge Your favors upon me, and I acknowledge my sins. So forgive me for none forgives sins but You.'
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم added:
"If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise."
« كل من حدثته نفسه بذنب فكرهه ونفاه عن نفسه وتركه لله؛ ازداد صلاحاً وبِرًّا وتقوى »
‘Anyone who reflects upon himself about his sins and hates them and tries to negate them from himself and leaves them for Allaah’s sake, then he increases in rectification, goodness and piety.’
It’s so easy to lose momentum towards the end of Ramadan. You may feel discouraged because you were unable to reach your goals. You may feel exhausted from the few hours of sleep and hectic schedule. You may even feel disappointed that you didn’t make the changes you wanted in yourself. Don’t worry...just keep at it. It’s tempting to give up and throw in the towel feeling defeated, but it’s all about how you finish the race that counts. You may have had a slow start or no start- that’s ok. Make a commitment right now that you will seize these last 10 days inshaAllah.
