Queue ran out, so I spent some time fixing up the Directory page. It now has entries for genetically correct premades, sorted by hood and family. Just Pleasantview, Strangetown, and Bluewater Village for now, but I’ll add more as things get posted. I’m very much just coming up with tags as I need them.

I also came up with the tag “loremades”, which I’m defining as sims who don’t actually exist in game, but are mentioned in a item/sim/lot description, etc.. For example there’s Nerissa Bee, who is mentioned as being the owner of Nerissa’s Own Clothing Store, a lot that came with OFB. Zebest Quizine, who is Julien Cooke’s rival, mentioned in his bio. Gloria Newson, the adoptive Newson mother who is only mentioned in Ginger’s bio. Stella Livorno, the alleged mistress of Malcolm Landgraab I, mentioned in a Glamour Life Stuff painting description. You get the idea, there’s a list of most of them here, on the SimsWiki.

I’ve always been a fan of people’s genetically correct versions of premades. It inspired me to make my own version.

Here’s the genetically correct versions of all the Strangetown premades (that are alive). I used marka93′s The Beginning of Strangetown hood to extract the genetics of generation 1 of Strangetown.

I then used the extracted sims to create new, genetically correct offspring. And this is the result!

All sims are packaged CC-free & the downloads contain unedited pictures of everyone’s faces.

There’s many deceased sims in Strangetown that have new genetics but I think I’ll save them for another post.

If something’s missing or links aren’t working please let me know so I can fix it!

GENETICS

I have mods in my game that make all hair and eye colors equally dominant. So a sim might have recessive genes for black hair or dominant genes for light blue eyes etc.

Alright, enough rambling.

I’ve extracted the Pleasantview Premades oldest known ancestors from The Beginning of Pleasantview and created new, genetically correct versions of the premades.

I have a mod that makes genetics equal. There’s some sims that have new eye colours but most of them kept their original hair and eye colour while gaining new recessive genes.

Since Mary-Sue is adopted and doesn’t have any known biological parents I didn’t change her.

Cornelia Goth either didn’t get any changes or I accidently replaced her face file with her original one so I didn’t include her 😬 (I did use her genetically correct face to create her offspring though)

The download containing all Premade sims also have more deceased relatives not pictured in this post (Adriana Lothario, Flamenco Caliente, Davis Dreamer etc.)

I made an Eliza Pancakes for TS2. (Bob is by freezerbunny-sims here.)

They made some interesting choices with her character design. Eliza is the materialistic perfectionist who we are to assume decorated the house all fancy and pink, yet they dressed her as casually and laidback as can be. (while Bob the slob wears the preppy pink graphic tee.)

I was asked if I could upload my TS2 version of Bob Pancakes, also known as Pancake Bob, so here he is. The rar includes a version with custom content and one without. He has the default s3 skintone in both versions (I use default replacement skintones). His eyes are probably geneticised. The sim is packaged in everyday clothes, but you can find the bathrobe here.

The Pleasant Family from The Sims 1

All of them are packaged with the CC listed in the preview pictures.

However, some of the CC I used while creating these Sims is repositoried to Maxis stuff (I originally didn’t plan to share them) so it won’t work if you have mesh defaults. 

Genetics: These Sims were created with default eyes and skins, so their appearance may change if you have very realistic defaults. For reference, my defaults  are Leh’s New Skintones and Remisim’s  Edits of Leh’s eyes on the Maxis Sclera.

Jeff: Most of his content is included, but his pants come from a set repositoried by Skell from Free Time’s Uberfamily Outfit. So, FT is required and if you have defaulted this outfit, his pants won’t show up correctly.

Diane: Her pants require the H&M SP

Danny: His Sims 1 sprite has brown hair. I gave him red hair because the twins must have inherited that from somewhere but, if you want Danny to have his original hair, you can download my retexture of Riddle Waves Front. His T-shirt is  a top repositoried by Skell from the OverHangTShirt. However, I also have texture defaults of this outfit by Anna, so they are required. Otherwise you can also give him a custom gray t-shirt, I am sure there are solid/gray recolors of Fanseelamb’s pajama t-shirt but I haven’t found them yet.  

Jenny: Her hair is repositoried from the Base Game’s Ponytail High conversion for CF by Melodie9. So, if you have defaulted this hair, it won’t show up correctly.  Her soccer uniform requires FT and is a default by Anna. 

Phew! That’s a lot of info. Anyway, I hope you enjoy these sims!

Here’s my version of Glabe and Glarn Curious. My take on them is that they are siblings (twins, in fact, because of the matching names), so their genetics reflect that idea.

Glabe has the same eye shape as Pascal, with either Pascal or Lazlo’s nose (which are similar anyway, if not exactly the same), and a general face shape like Jenny and the twins. I kept her smiley mouth from the game thumbnail because I liked it. Her eyes are green, but I used contacts on her that are more hazel. Glarn mostly resembles Lazlo, but with Vidcund’s chin.
