gotta say I totally agree on that joker point u made 🙏🙏 he was the one that got me into DC too, and as badly as I think he's been handled recently, that doesn't mean his entire existence now warrants hate!!

thank you very much ::,,,) i feel like part of the problem is that non joker fans assume joker fans are super hype about the amount of content we get when that is ABSOLUTELY not the case. like i dont care how many comics joker is put in if they dont use him well!! i wish he would get pulled back so dc can really think about where they want to go with him and give other rogues the spotlight!!! and people should be mad at dc for that, not the joker ::P like . joker , the fictional character , did not break into dc headquarters to force them to write him more. people are great at (rightfully) getting mad at dc when their blorbos are written incorrectly, so why is it that for this so many people act like it is the fault of the character and his fans ?

A friend and I were discussing what we're like when we're sick and we decided people usually fall into one of these five 'sick modes': *Everyone is probably multiple of these at different times depending on how sick they are and with what but we think most people have a mode they default to and become more often than the others*

Delicate Consumptive Victorian: you feel tragic and mournful but also beautiful in a sad way, you are in bed, sipping hot tea, others should quietly whisper about how you are too good for this world, too beautiful, too tragic... And bring you more tea

Sick Dog: you are curled up in a ball, you don't want anything, you don't need anything, but it would be nice if others could still ask you if you need anything

Sickly Child Emperor: you are dying and it's everyone else's problem, you need pillows, no! you need soup, no! You need absolute silence or you will not be the first one to die today

Plague Pit: you are curled up probably on the floor, no one touch you, no one look at you, this is between you and God and you already know He has no mercy left for you

Warrior General: you are not sick. You are in perfect health and you don't know why anyone would think otherwise. Illness is an enemy that can be intimidated and you must remain strong for your men! (You are going to pass out at the most inconvenient moment possible)

Part 2 of gotham-izing my oc's, this one had like zero change, part 1 is here

Mandy my boy! He runs an illegal clinic out of his van, which is pretty helpful to all the villains who need medical care and don't want the cops called on them immediately, he's also just cheaper than American healthcare so he also ends up helping out civilians too.

They also sell and buy some questionable stuff varying from prescription painkillers to human body parts.

While you could say he's doing his job to help the people of Gotham, or to get some money, the real reason is scientific curiosity. He aspires to one day be completely human, and to do that, he needs to know how humans work. He's also just autistic as shit bout the human body.

Ayy it's the guy who's name I stole

Hes in dc now I guess

He's basically like the penguin, but he's just your average white guy. He seems really familiar to something I've seen before, but idk what, so I might've subconsciously based him off somethin. But he deals in illegal weapons dealing, he buys and sells stolen stuff, all that jazz, but he's like really low key about it cause he's all about keeping his establishment classy, he's all about being charming and looking nice, which is kinda ironic cause the massive scar just screams criminal. He's also decently wealthy and makes a show of being a philanthropist, although he's nowhere on the level of Bruce Wayne, and the way he procures his money is probably doing more harm than whatever good comes of his donations.

Hmmmgghhh............. thinking about how a lot of my oc's fit pretty well into Gotham with minimal tweaking........ will update on how this thought process goes soon
