I’m back

Hi guys. Been a while huh? First of all I would like to apologize for disappearing like I did, with no warning or explanation. There’s been several factors to why I deactivated my blog. Half because of my sister’s condition, and half because of self inflicted drama. 

I won’t get into it, because I know many people are sick of drama, some don’t care, and also, it’s in the past. I’ve done a lot of shitty things I’m not proud of, but I’ve grown as a person, reflected and am doing my best to be better. I have also apologized to all the parties I’ve wronged, and I believe most of them would like to move on as well. Now, to my followers, I wanted to say a quick thank you as well. Thank you all so much for the support you gave me during the previous blog’s lifetime, I am extremely grateful. I hope that going forward I can better myself and become worthy of all of you. I’m not good with these things, there’s much more I have to say but can’t put it into words. Just, thank you. You guys are the best. Another thing: I am still working. I have a job, so that means way less activity time on the blog than in the past. I will do my best to dedicate my free time to this blog. So, going forward, what will happen?  Well since I probably will not get any character asks for the near future, probably mostly comics.  All the previous asks and comics were archived here by @animercom, I do not plan on re-uploading it all here unfortunately, but feel free to browse there if you need to.  Continuity wise, everything is the same, everything that happened in the old blog stands true.  I don’t know if the blog will take off the ground again, frankly it doesn’t matter. I simply want to make silly danganronpa comics, and share them with people. My ultimate goal is to simply make people smile. That’s all I think, I don’t know what the future holds. I’m not going to make any assumptions or predictions, nor promises, because I’m not sure what the near future will be like.  Honestly, I am expecting quite a lot of (well deserved) hate to come my way, and it will be quite hard to deal with, haha.  I truly hope I will be able to make it through it though. 

I will put a little disclaimer, in the event that all the hate becomes too much for me to handle, I might be forced to disappear again.  This is not a threat or anything, I just have to put my mental health first, I hope you all understand!

what happened to the original blog?

Ultimateask OP deactivated because his older sister’s cancer had spread and he needed to start working to support her medical bills and the kids. You can see it in his own words here. He did not want to deactivate and is hoping to come back one day if possible.

Finished Posting Everything!

All 3,696 pictures have been posted! This means that I will no longer be spamming posts, so if you want to follow this blog now then by all means. 

A big thank you, everyone!

I want to thank everyone, new and old fans of ultimateask, who has supported me, this blog and the old one, and ultimateask these past three weeks. To think in such a short time there would be over 160 people following either blog and well over 4,000 notes blows my mind. From the bottom of my heart thank you for all of the overwhelming amount of support. Especially to the kind people who sent asks of encouragement. Thank you so much. 

So what’s next? What are you going to do?

I have several things on my to-do list: double check the old blog for any posts I missed (most likely op asks or ultimatememeing ones), clean up the tags on posts, and brush up the tags and FAQ sections on this blog and the old one. I’m not sure yet what I’m going to do with the old @savingultimateask blog, but I don’t see any reason to delete it. But I am no longer going to reblog updates on the @savingultimateask blog, so follow this one. 

What can I do?

To continue supporting ultimateask, you guys can have fun going through the blog! There’s 1,200+ posts after all! 

Like and reblog posts! Reblogging helps spread the word that all of OP’s comics were reposted and attracts new fans to ultimateask. Use the tags page to search for your favorite comics and reblog them.

Send me an ask or message me directly if a) if there’s a comic I reposted you know what the ask was about and I don’t and b) if you or someone else you saw reblogged an ultimateask post that I had to repost. Send me an ask or DM me! On this blog or at my main blog @animercom.

Will ultimateask ever come back?

I don’t know. Not only did OP have to start working to help pay medical bills for his sister’s cancer and to help support her kids (see the previous post), but there are other factors preventing him from coming back as well. In the meantime, we can show our support to him by enjoying and spreading the word about this blog.

A hiatus.

Hi guys. Bad news.

My sister's cancer has spread to her chest cavity. She's going to have to start chemotherapy, and all the nasty things involved. As such I am going to have to start working, to support her, and also help take care of her kids.

So I can’t really afford to manage this blog anymore.

This is such a tragic fucking turn of events.

I am sorry guys.

For the time being, I'm going to have to put this blog on an indefinate hiatus.

I don't know when, or even if I'll come back.

There are a few posts on queue, so you'll see a few things, like a christmas post, but it's just a queue, so no interaction from me.

Really sorry guys. Seeya soon, hopefully.
