So just to sum up why haven’t romantic people accepted their fate?

So annoyed with people who look so happy to see you.

Why are you smiling so much? What’s so good about me? Why are you waving your hands and whys your voice so shrill? What do you know that I don’t? What are you plotting? How can I thwart you? How can I court you? What kind of flowers do you like? Can I pick you from at your place? Is 7 okay?

Take this incredibly delicate intricately woven knot of consciousness and emotion and reduce it to a single purpose. Make it unbearable and excruciating to be assumed a tool rather than an un fathomable feat of design. Take that pain and draw it out, make it slow and steady but unrelenting. Now make that mess of a thing work for a purpose it was never intended to in a way it isn’t created to. Kill it on the inside and hollow it out, eat the insides while you’re there. Gnawing on what you can only assume is flesh but in all reality was what philosophers and spiritualists alike call the soul.
