“Well, think about it. If you’re forgotten no one remembers who you were, what you did, how you acted, if you were a hero or a villain. If you’re forgotten, anyone can write their story about you, you’re powerless to stop them if they start slandering your image.”
Hot Rod did have a point though. There were many things that scared her to death and back. But being forgotten. That was certainly the worst.
"The only thing that scares me is being forgotten."
“Is that trulythe only thingthat you FEAR?Because frommy experience, there is so manythings in the universe that couldwarrant the same reaction.” | @resiliantrxdhead

The Knight shrugged his giant shoulders. Perhaps it was just a habit he had.
After she finished talking, Dragonicus gave him a simple nod. “I understand. They are perhaps back in America with Cade.” Then again, he had no idea. He was just a hermit these days after all. “If you find Cade, I’m sure you will find them.”
A look of confusion soon took her hostage. Cade was...that guy yeah? The inventor dude. She had seen his mugshot practically everywhere, how he was a wanted criminal and all that jazz.
“I...have no idea who Cade is. Ok, well, technically I’ve seen him on TV as a ‘dangerous’ criminal.” The redhead accompanies the word dangerous with air quotes. “In the end, I have no idea where to start looking for him.”

“What job do you have?”
He was curious. What kind of life had she lead in these past few years? He was on the run. Optimus had disappeared and they were being hunted. Then they met Cade, saved the world and Optimus disappeared again while they still had to hide.
She sighed before continuing. “A cashier job at the grocery store. It’s not the most glamorous job but...it’s what I could get without people judging me for what I’ve done.”
Those years on the run were more damaging than she would’ve liked. She thought she was doing the right thing, but everyone else begged to differ. At one point, Sophia had accepted that was the price she had to pay. Help the ‘enemy’ in exchange for her social standing.

Some walk this turned out to be. Rather suddenly, an engine revved angrily in the abandoned warehouse she wandered in. The redhead yelped and stumbled backwards, scrambling away from the vehicle. Autobot, Decepticon, she had no idea who they were. But, judging by the tone, it was leaning towards Decepticon.
"Sorry, I'm sorry! I'll clear out, no need to get your panties in a twist."
@resiliantrxdhead liked for a starter
Nitro Zeus had been recharging in his alternate mode when he sensed a human close by. His engines growled, but he didn’t transform.
“Find your OWN hiding spot unless you wanna turn into human popcorn!” Nitro’s thruster glowed ominously.

“Of course I do. You were the reason I came back to Earth. I didn’t want to leave without making sure you were okay.”
He didn’t have Sam anymore. He was still a little iffy on his old friends from Nest and it would take a long time to trust anyone from the TRF. Next to Cade and his family, Sophia was all he had left on Earth. He couldn’t just leave her without saying goodbye at least.
Seeing those words flicker across the screen was a surefire ticket to making his human sister feel all warm and fuzzy inside, while at the same time it made her mood sink. This was probably the last time she was going to see Bumblebee before he returned to Cybertron permanently. Deep down, she knew it was for the best, she didn’t want it, but hey, that’s life and life sucks sometimes. This was just one of those moments.
“I’ve been doing ok-ish. It’s been hard, getting settled in with the new place and job, without people trying to get me into trouble for what I’ve done. I think I’ve got it under control for the time being.”

Dragonicus listened to Sophia. He could trust her at least for now–it was only odd for him to have someone come to him asking if he knew where Autobots were. The Knight wasn’t too fond of the factions but moreover had to deal with them.
“Last time I saw them, they were fine. They were at Stonehenge.” After that, he had no idea there was no point for him to stick around the battlefield. “I apologize.” There was a possibility they could still be on the island or not. Dragonicus would rather not know but instead just be his-hermit-self, to withdraw himself with the real world.
A sigh of relief escaped from Sophia. He said that they were fine, his words didn’t do much but at least she had the reassurance that they were alive and well. That was all that mattered. The redhead could look for them at a later date if she ultimately had to (because she had her own issues to deal with first) but knowing that they were alive was all she really wanted to know.
“Don’t be sorry, what are you sorry for? It’s alright if you don’t know where they are at this exact moment. I guess I just have to keep looking.” The small human gave the ancient knight a friendly, warm smile. “And thank you. Without your word, I’d still be fussing over them.”

There was a little smirk and he cocked his head to the side with a shrug of his shoulders. She was right. He should’ve gone home. Now that Earth and Cybertron were connected and close, he could easily leave and join the others up there. And he had, if only to get a feel for the place he’d called home so long ago. But now Earth was his home too and it brought just as much heartbreak and good memories as Cybertron did.
‘I did for a little bit. Optimus let come back. I had things here to settle after all.’
Sophia recalled that day as if it were yesterday. She felt so helpless, but it was a matter she knew that she couldn’t change anything, even if she was there. So all the redhead could do was pray for her friend’s safety, and pray for those who were trying to save the world. Seeing Cybertron itself, it felt so alien, but she was fascinated by it too. Maybe Bee could take her up there one day, show her what it was like.
“That was nice of him, I’ll have to thank him the next time I see him. Remember, if you need any help with anything, you know who to call on!” She smiled confidently, albeit it was a little silly.

The behemoth kept his clawed servo gripped to the side of the ship. He was trying not to loom but he couldn’t help it with his massive size yet he did his best by crouching some.
“I have seen Bumblebee but not Hound. I’m not sure who that is.” Dragonicus paused for a moment, tapping his helm. “Why do you want to know where they are?” Even though he had seen Bumblebee doesn’t mean he knew his exact location but that only he had seen him.
Her heart sank a little when he said he hadn’t seen Hound. He was always a little reckless...ok he was a lot reckless.
“Like I said, they’re both my friends. I helped them out now and then a couple of years ago when they needed it, and they helped me. I’m worried for them.” Please, he had to believe her. Puppy eyes were tempting, but she was better than that. He would have to trust her on word alone and not silly faces.

He waited, watching as it slowly clicked in who it was that was standing in front of her. His own expression pulled into a grin and he moved to sit down next to the human with a little hum.
Quick as usual, he had his little tablet out and he was typing away. His voice was still on the fritz. They’d been trying to get it fixed, get it close to what it was before but he’d only gotten a few sentences out. And that was a surprise even to him.
‘Hi sleepy head.”
She wanted to leap up and give him the biggest hug in her life. Not a day went by did she worry about him, where he was, what he was up to, if he was safe. But Sophia knew Bee quite well, he could easily take care of himself, that didn't stop her from worrying. But seeing him now put all of her worries to rest. More importantly, how did he find her?? That was the question burning in her mind. On top of that, why wasn't he back home? After the near end of the world Sophia would've expected Bee to make a, well, beeline for Cybertron. Looking over to his tablet to see what he had to say, she snorted at his reply and ruffled his hair to retort.
"Gimmie a break. You know sunbeams and I are mortal enemies. But what are you doing here? I thought you would've gone home?"
#voicelessrecon#ugh tired#the new internship is really draining but so worth it#so tiredness aside I'd say all is well

Considering that sleep was a rare amenity while on the run, she had a lot of catch up work to do. It was a welcome break, not having to worry about walking into traps or having the military turn her into swiss cheese. But all good things wouldn't last forever, and she was already making plans for that day. The good things were about to get even better as her Autobot brother started poking her forehead. She made a small little moan in her sleep and screwed up her face. To this day she hated being woken up, it was one of those 'just don't' things.
Sophia blinked slowly as her eyes adjusted to the bright light, her mind a fog.
"What...?"
Her eyes flung wide when she started to make out familiar features. Short yellow and black, with cyan blue eyes, she knew few people that looked exactly like...
"Bee! Oh my god!" A huge smile washed over her, she was overjoyed to see he was alright!
It had been a tough decision and even longer argument, but the ultimatum was it was too dangerous to stick together. It was better if they went their own ways until things calmed down. After a teary goodbye, Sophia struck out on her own. That was three years ago, during that time things HAD settled to the point the Autobots weren't in danger anymore. That was a win in her book. It was a calm and hot summer day, and Sophia went out to the park to read, but had fallen asleep in the shade of a tree
@resiliantrxdhead

It had taken a long time for anything to remotely be considered safe for them. Bee was still constantly on edge, unsure of when another Cemetery Wind or TRF would pull itself out of the shes to come and hunt them down despite faction. With the momentary peace, Bee set out to find the human he considered a sister. It might have taken a long time, and he had to use a few outside sources, but he did end up finding her.
Sleeping of all things.
Laughing a little, he leaned down and poked the sleeping woman in the forehead.

“I just don’t have the system, actually before I got here I didn’t even have a gps. So I needed human help to get around and navigate.” He shrugged, laughing. “ I guess when I was sparked I just didn’t have the room for these things and didn’t need them back home.”
“Oh..”
Well that...that sounded like it sucked. She knew that things had definitely turned around for Evac, but that didn’t make a difference in the end. And, it seemed it didn’t bother him very much, or at least she hoped so.
“I didn’t know that bots were different from one another.” Learn something every day she guessed. “That is a bit of an unfair standing though.”
❝ Who wears pants anymore? So 2015. ❞
“Evac!” There’s a hint of scolding in her voice, however, she was betrayed by her half muffled snort-laugh.
