"What are you doing around here, anyway?"

'ritsuka's so tsundere for soubi'
ooc: and how not entirely valid that is
The Japanese term tsundere refers to a character who "runs hot and cold", alternating between two distinct moods: tsuntsun (aloof or irritable) and deredere (lovestruck). - TV Tropes
If you are reading this, you are probably aware of how at least the first chapter goes. Or maybe you aren't. You may go read that first or go look at pictures of cats.
It from the beginning of Loveless that you have Ritsuka Aoyagi dishing out his opinions and being rather straight forward. He does not hesitate to say what he feels over different matters despite it possibly being identified as lacking tact as well as using strong words such as hate. Liars aren't in best favour in his eyes -- though there may be slight contradiction in this as he tells his own fibs to not have people worry about him so it may lean more to the term of 'dirty liars' -- nor are people who allow themselves to be used and take orders from others. Obviously the kid isn't perfect but he's human and humans are far from perfect. Unless they are Anne Hathaway.
And then we have Soubi Agatsuma because he's kind of important here to the point. Not much is made clear over the matter of his own feelings right from the start as he is acting on orders from Seimei and being all cryptic. But it is in an instant that it is shown that he is not exactly one to keep his promises and that he isn't one to explain himself despite-- yeah, making promises of 'anything' to the boy. Not to worry, it soon does come to light that he is looking for treatment that he received in the past (though I suppose that isn't made clear to Ritsuka as much as it is the audience with flashback-o-vision.) With the submissive attitude, Soubi is still a human and nowhere near perfect and full of his own secrets.
Put these two together and you have a match made in a hellish heaven. It has already been stated with how Soubi is not too sincere with his promises and takes his own liberties. However, there are simply somethings that he says that do come off as alluring. Ritsuka wants to believe in Soubi but he refuses to allow himself to be played for a fool. The pair do not have the same view on the matter of their relationship under the same name. Soubi wants to act as the servant while Ritsuka is about one making choices for themselves. This results in a pull and push from the boy's end.
It is because of Soubi's lying that makes Ritsuka unsure about things and makes it a little difficult to make up his mind on every factor concerning Soubi. But he is open about how he feels and does not hide it. He makes a point that Soubi does do things that he does not like and all the while he does admire Soubi for other things. While Ritsuka prefers not to go down the route of something that 'fate' designed it is certain that he wants Soubi in his life. It even has Ritsuka saying he is going to give into what Soubi wants simply so they may stay together.
tr;dl: Ritsuka is honest with how he feels. Soubi's behaviour has him somewhat confused and not completely decisive.

"That doesn't make it right."

"It doesn't even make any sense."
“True, but sometimes they do tell me jokes.”

“That’s why I can’t risk telling them to leave.”

"That isn't having a sense of humour. That's being weird."
retentively replied to your photo: “There are two types of messages I get. The…
“Disgusting.”
“Now, Ritsuka, let them have their fun, no matter how annoying they get.”

"Then that's it."

This girl cannot exactly be described as his favourite person.

“No need to be so hostile. I was merely surprised.”

"You're forgetting an important detail!"

"I didn't draw that! Or write whatever was on there!"
Does having only one pair of ears make someone deaf?
“Hey, hey. Alright, I’m sorry, I guess I was a little harsh with it. It’s not that bad of a drawing Ricchan, really, it really shows… expression…”

“You should be proud of all your work!”

"Uh..."
If she was okay with that then he couldn't force anything else, could he? It wasn't hurting anyone or anything, at least. She was someone to be respected, however, so it was difficult to be sure. Lighten up, one could suppose. He would simply nod and accept. But he would cringe at the usage of 'Ricchan.' Kio insisted on that nickname, too. No matter who used it, the name would still be annoying.
"You're really friends with them, huh?"
Kio liked to boast the 'Soubi's only friend' title so maybe it was a surprise. But Minamigawa was addressed as Soubi's friend so he was being a little blind. One easily got lost in that excitement of Comiket but he would keep all facts in tact. He would deeply inhale at that and needlessly nod once again. He was going to turn into a bobble head at this rate, surely. But then he'd shake his head.

How could he forget Minamigawa? She did quite an amazing job and everything. It was enough to factor into his experience at his first Comiket.
"I wouldn't forget! Actually, I really want to go to summer Comiket because of you!"
It wasn't a complete lie. He was easily interested in the cosplayers but seeing Minamigawa's work was something else.
“Oh please, just call me Hanabi.” She ignored his remark about being called Ritsuka. Hanabi was contemporary about her use of honorifics and formalities when it came to names. Some might say she was too familiar, lax, or even rude about her usage. But it was really just on the level of those she deemed friends. Which she was quite quick to do. With Agatsuma, he frequently insisted she add an honorific to his name to no avail. For Ritsuka… she immediately had thought of him as cute, adorable, and quickly started calling him by a fittingly cute name.
It really did seem like a long time since she saw the boy last. But from her position he was probably away from her a lot longer than she was away from him. That is to say, she often heard Kaido shouting the kid’s name at Soubi for some unknown reason that was about as mysterious as that pair was prone to being. Come to think of it, a lot had changed since she met the kid… It was Comiket… a while ago. If she wasn’t reminded of him so often she wasn’t sure if she would’ve remembered him off the bat like that. It was kind of amazing that he even recalled her.

“It has been! It’s been a long time! But Ricchan, I hear about you a lot what with being friends with Kaido and Agatsuma.” She was somewhat proud of being able to form a closer relationship with Soubi. He was such a closed off person but she really liked him and, boy!, was he always a great help. “I’m surprised you even recognized me after so long! Its great, what a kid!” She was prone to running her mouth off like a madwoman, in pretty much every casual situation.

"With that logic, if I wrote a letter to you and signed it with 'Grandma' I would suddenly be your grandmother. But I'm not! And I didn't draw that!"
“How should I know?”

“But it was signed ‘love ritsuka’.”

"Why the hell would I draw that?"
agatsumasoubi replied to your photo: “what the hell is this”
“Evidently a picture Ricchan drew… I think you could spare to give him a few drawing lessons.”

To say the least, it wasn't easy to recognise her in that...get up. But the voice was enough to ring a bell. He'd be damned had he forgotten. It was that lady from Comiket, of course! She looked, different. "No. I mean--" Ricchan? Everyone and their...nicknames. " Ritsuka. That's fine."
No sense in being rude, however, maybe. She did treat him to food. And she was, like, the boss of people!
"But, Miss Minamigawa! It's been a while!"
retentively started following you
“Is that…?” Hanabi tried to recall the name of the boy she had met only once or twice. Agatsuma sure did mention it a lot.

“Ricchan?!”

It was explained scientifically how precipitation worked and yet it was not enough to explain what was so captivating about it. There was a wonder that went beyond words themselves. Or possibly there is some sort of reasoning. Having the knowledge was much preferred over always spent wondering. Getting dirt wet would result in mud and water would help plants grow with the wind pushing the clouds along to move the weather along. The reason for progression and everything else was so easily explained. But the question that cannot be answered with the use of science was about its beauty. Some rain was devastating and yet there was a charm. However, that would come to terms of being awful and ugly. Rain had a reason to be stronger on some occasion more so than others and it was another thing that would be explained by scientific fact.
Maybe it was a matter of opinion.
Such thoughts would only blur together the longer that the boy had taken notice of rainfall making its way down a gutter. He lifted his head, as well as his hand, making sure to mind the umbrella. Just right then had his thoughts left him in favour of watching the rain. It was that same mysterious captivation that had the boy thinking on the matter. But he would turn his attention away and proceed going down the sidewalk. His hands were a little cold but that was something he had to hold himself accountable for; it was ridiculous to merely be standing out in the rain like that. Now one hand would be placed over the other as he supported the umbrella with the bit of effort to get one hand warm. Gritting his teeth, he would walk slightly faster.
Stupid, stupid.
Getting worked up about something so minute. The walk itself was not too lengthy. Or maybe it was. He should have at least had some decency to wait for the bus. When he had left the house a few minutes beforehand there was mind that he was faster than the bus. The bus would not able to get him to his desired destination as quickly as he wanted. His feet would be able to carry him. Those were silly thoughts, now, but it was nothing too problematic. Walking was good for a person and the boy was quite capable of carrying himself the distance. It was troublesome how one thing could get him to do things without properly thinking. Not that he would blame it on that one thing, no, person. It was merely a childish thing to do. He had the power to decide things on his own.
The power of decision making had brought him to a particular doorstep and knocking right on that door.
