Thinking about how my Cyberpunk guys all connect!! It's kinda wild and will be elaborated on later

RED's parents were also killed in 2023 during Silverhand's attack on Arasaka. Worked as an agent for Arasaka during their redevelopment. Eventually, he broke off and became a Fixer. Has become Valentine's go-to Fixer during the 2060s. RED is a DnD Character, so his lore isn't fleshed out fully.

Valentine (V) got fired from Arasaka. Moved in with Jackie. Insert the standard 2077 lore. Dates/marries Kerry Eurodyne. Handed Songbird over to Reed (after bretaying Reed originally). Canonly goes with Hanako and removes Johnny's construct. Dies 8 months later upon returning to earth.

Bailey and Rilley are Nomad twins. Worked often with Jackie and the Aldecaldos. Huge fans of Samurai and Kerry Eurodyne. Supported V on the lead up to deciding his own fate.

Vaeda is close friends with Rogue, Claire and Judy. Ran with the Valentino's but spends most time at the Afterlife. Helped V decide what his Afterlife drink would be. Has made BD content along with Judy.

Keeping the gun pointed right at her, his eyes dart around the space. She's not wrong, this is definitely an office. What kind of office though... that's the next question.

Alternative timelines though? That's odd. What does that even mean? How could there be more than one timeline? And zombies? Come on. Zombies aren't real. What is all of this? Some weird narrative written up on a random website?

The voice within Eclipse is continuing to plead to him, begging him to lower the gun. He can only roll his eyes as he keeps the gun held up to Thursday.

"It's an M9. A modified beretta." He finally speaks, answering Thursday's question. "It shoots tranquiliser rounds instead of actual bullets." His arm begins to droop a little, but it's clear he puts his focus back into keeping the weapon drawn.

"What kind of office is this? Are you guys planning some serious things here?" Eclipse asks, watching her very closely.

Thursday has had all kinds of guns pointed at her, but this particular gun is a new one. Kind of funny-looking. That's probably not what she should be focusing on right now, neither that nor the fact that this is not your average "hello", but to her, it is the average "hello", considering the number of times she's had guns pointed at her first and questions asked later.

She smiles at the scar-faced stranger, who also looks... remarkably familiar, she can't help but notice. "I'm Thursday. Yes, just like the day of the week. And this is an Office. Where it is... is on Earth, in a timeline where the apocalypse happened at some point. But don't worry, all the zombies are outside and most of them are gone by now. I'm not a zombie, by the way. What kind of gun is that?"

Actually. No one had told them she was crazy. They didn't even know who she is- just that she's here in front of them, on Shadow Moses. Eros lowers their gun, looking the lady up and down.

"Crazy?" They ask, shoving their gun back into its holster. "I mean, normal people don't just show up at abandoned facilities like this, located out on the middle of an island." A cold gust of wind blows, causing Eros to tuck their hands under their armpits.

"Who are you? And how did you get here?" Eros asks calmly, keeping a close eye on her in case she turns on them.

He's watching her very closely, a tranquiliser gun pointed right at her. A moment ago, Eclipse had been sneaking through a Research and Development lab. There were scientists everywhere and guards walking up and down the aisles, watching everything they were doing.

Now he's here. In an office. With some cheerful lady talking at him.

Unbeknownst to her, there's a panicked voice screaming within Eclipse, begging him to lower the gun. But he refuses.

"Who are you? Where is this?" He asks abruptly, keeping the tranquiliser gun pointer at her. The voice within continues to beg.

Yep! It's happening (again). Though I think I'd like it to be known that I'm not going to be pumping out full fledged replies- more than 3 sentences but not a whole huge reply (10+ sentences). That's what tired me out before and is half the reason I stopped wanting to rp. I put too much pressure on myself and loose a sense of fun by doing that

"My biggest dream is to make a video game!" Codebreak smiles as he places his coffee down by his keyboard. "I love games- and since I was a kid, I've always wanted to make one! I love the narratives, the game play mechanics, the extensive worlds that exist in that kind of media. It's so interesting! Eclipse thinks I should make one centered around Tactical Espionage Action- but that's too mainstream."

"I had a great idea for a game- it was inspired by something my dad created when he was a bit younger. You play as some simple, generic guy and you work in an office. Suddenly, a voice speaks to you and you get taken through the office. It'll have lots of endings for if you do and don't go along with the voice!" It's clear that Codebreak has a lot of ideas for this game he wants to make, in fact. At the back of his warehouse, there's a corkboard with lots of scribbled notes and sketches of offices, computers and the number 427 written over them. "Ah- let me zip my mouth before I spill the beans of my project. I can't let you take my ideas and make them a thing before I can!" Jokingly, Codebreak pretends to zip his lips shut, with a little smile forming when he does.

"To answer your other question. When I was younger, my dad and I built a computer together. He took time off from his military work to build a computer with me. After that, I started to learn about technology and began experimenting building robots and stuff like that." Around his warehouse, there's half completed prototypes of robots laying around the space.

"I guess that's what helped me become the me I am today... but it also paved the way to building Nyx... which is my biggest regret."

"Well, I find expressing emotions pretty hard now." Eclipse begins, leaning back against a chair made from a cardboard box. "Too many years trying to stop war does that to you. Put your emotions behind you and keep moving otherwise you'll end up on a slab and not the enemy. I used to be an empathic guy when I was a kid, up until I was 12 or something. Learnt to keep my emotions to myself and shut up. Guess that's what helps me with my operations."

"A dark thought though..." He strokes his chin as he tries to think of an answer. There's always been lots of dark thoughts bouncing around in his mind, mostly disregarded to prioritise his mission. It took him a moment- but he remembers one.

"That day Codebreak found out that the people we were working for were intending to use Metal Gear Nyx for... war crime things. We were the only two that could pilot it, and Codebreak was the one who developed it so he would be the only, qualified member who could make modifications to the machine." Eclipse has to take a sharp breath in, knowing what he was about to say was rather painful.

[ MENTION OF MURDER/S**CIDE/S**CIDE PACT BELOW CUT]

"I almost put a bullet through his brain, and then mine as well. Anything to stop them from getting any control on the thing." His voice doesn't falter, but there's a very subtle shift in his body's posture. A sign of emotion perhaps.

"That whole week, I kept thinking that was the only way we could stop Nyx falling into their hands. The machine was made for mass destruction, I couldn't let that happen. Who knows what lives this thing could destroy."

"But Codebreak came up with an idea, a way to stop it from becoming what it was designed for. So the thought went away... although we have promised each other that if our plan fails... well..." He gestures a gun to his head, the pulling of a trigger and a head movement similarly to that of someone being shot.

Been thinking about that second point a bit recently. There's absolutely NO way Eclipse could have gone so long without k-wording a single person. Maybe in his earlier days, he could've been the best soldier for espionage missions.

But once he's running for his life and having to do whatever he can to survive and destroy Nyx, he would've had to k-word a person or more... right?

I can't imagine he would've taken it well. He must've been buggered up afterwards to take a human life for his own survival. I'm sure he broke down over Codec to Codebreak after he did it- and Codebreak had no idea how to help him through that trauma.

Eclipse would've hardened up at some point- probably when he was subjected to being tortured? I haven't figured this out yet. But something must snap in him during the 6 years before he "comes back to life"

I've been thinking so much about my MG S oc lore recently. I'm just gonna put things in bullet points because I just need to jot my thoughts down somewhere

There's lots of banter between Echo and Eclipse over the codec, but Eclipse often snaps back at Echo

Eclipse was super good, never k-worded anyone other than targets. He also looked neat, not scarred m

Eclipse and Codebreak are absolute besties. No one can come between them. Both tease each other and so on. Many think they're dating but they're not!

Once Codebreak and Eclipse discover the reason that Metal Gear Nyx was developed, both recognise they both need to escape. Echo is completely oblivious to this

Eclipse "dies" on mission. This is actually a plan made by Codebreak to release him from the military. Echo is devastated by his death

Soon afterwards, Echo is given a new soldier to handle, a new and promising recruit codenamed Eros

Eros is chosen by the military to learn how to pilot Nyx.

Codebreak, despite knowing he should leave as well, remains in the military. He knows that the military can't k-word him yet as he is the only person who can pilot Nyx and organise repairs to it. He relays as much information as he can to Eclipse

Codebreak is also the person training Eros on how to pilot Nyx. He's very grumbly when talking to Eros

Eclipse and Codebreak attempt to find a way to destroy Nyx. Eclipse infiltrates the facility while Codebreak develops some malware to deliver to Nyx.

And at some point in time, they manage to succeed!

6 years later after Nyx has been destroyed by Eclipse and Codebreak. Eclipse organises a meeting with Echo via Codebreak

While being incredibly pissed off, Echo is over the moon with knowing that Eclipse is alive. However, he is mortified seeing the state in which Eclipse has returned (scars, damaged eye, acid burn)
