Clone Wars concept art of Duchess Satine in (stylized) Mandalorian armor

I wish we knew more about the thought behind this. Was this conceived of before Satine was made a militant pacifist? Or was their some context that would have driven the Pacifist Duchess to wear a full suit of armor? At least in this image, she has no weapons, so the armor still only serves a defensive purpose.

i think mission vao does not have the traditional eyebrow tattoos most female twi'leks do, on account of being a teenage street urchin.

i firmly believe she makes up for this by drawing on eyebrows like a goth kid cakes on makeup.

For completion's sake, I do think there should be an audio adaptation of Tales of the Jedi: The Sith War and maybe Redemption.

every star wars fan has opinions they think are correct, but i think i'm at the point in my life--and maybe it's just because star wars has been part of me for so long--where i am the median star wars fan.

i can find the heart and goodness in every single piece of star wars media, both disney and legends. they are all my children.

also though dave should take a break/get a fresh writers' room.

like what is that conversation back on yavin? because everything cassian learns in the episode can just point to double m being a high profile defector. does he just mention it to bix or melshi later and whoever it is just has to take a moment because 'how have you not been following her career she's been organizing and testing the limits of the empire's power since the clone wars'

more importantly, the next time they meet (either cassian apologizing for being unaware of her game or the two of them getting drunk at the same makeshift bar because she's an outward-facing rebel now and he just lost his longterm situationship by saying i love you), mon mothma looks him dead in the eye and says "welcome to the rebellion"

"welcome to the rebellion" is so funny because cassian thinks he's saying it to one more (sheltered) person who made a choice they can't come back from. he can't remember how to ease into the violence and there's no time anyway and just keep moving.

meanwhile mon mothma is begrudgingly following luthen's rescue plan only for the man doing the rescuing to shoot two people essentially in the front yard of her childhood home and leave others to deal with the fallout.
