INCOMING MESSAGE
I am Tano Olazzar, one of the emissaries tasked with leading Earth to greatness and raising its civilization from the ashes. I will be your ally and advisor on this difficult journey.
The All-Mind's triumph and the subsequent genocide of the human race have left emissaries as the only wielders of power on this planet. To the cradle of humanity, we bring our greatest gifts: the might of edicts and long-lost knowledge.
By my will alone an oasis can spring up in the middle of a desert, seas may rise where mountains once stood. Earth, however, remains hostile to our species.

Upon my reawakening, I had to rely on edicts to expand arable land as far as the eye could see, all to feed my people. Wielding the power of a kind word and a good deed, I was building a new future for humanity. And as soon as I thought that nothing could stand in my way, an army appeared on the horizon.
The enemy troops were too many to count, while my warriors were weak and poorly trained. We had enough food to survive a siege, but that too could end in our defeat. Reluctantly, I made a decision. Using the power of edicts, I've lowered the temperature of the surrounding lands to slow the foe’s advance. Enemy soldiers found themselves stuck in snow banks for months, their arrows disappearing into the blinding whiteness of a summoned snowstorm and never reaching their targets.
Alas, I made a mistake - the river that used to safeguard the city on one side was frozen over, creating a passageway for our adversaries.

Never, in my previous life, have I served as a general in combat. That lack of experience cost us dearly. While my maneuvers earned the city enough time to train more soldiers, we lost fertile land surrounding the settlement. Existing supplies were being consumed at an alarming rate, signaling the oncoming famine. A painful lesson on the destructive power of edicts used even with the best of intentions.
Never since the All-Mind’s creation had humanity wielded such might. It may lead us to greatness or to the destruction of Earth. Forever, this time.
Take the time to study this new world you have found yourself in and remember - Earth's future is now your burden to bear.
