I just wanted to say thank you for hosting a rexwalker week!! I hope you do it again next year, and I apologize for not contributing this year (it was election week in the us, plus some personal problems) but I'll likely be posting the drafts I almost finished as little rexwalker drabbles

So thank you for encouraging us all to write <3

There is absolutely no need to apologize for not being able to participate during the week. We'll be happy to share your beautiful creations whenever you're ready to post them, be that this week, next month, or even next November when we do Rexwalker Week again! Whether it's two people participating or twenty, we will be here reblogging and hyping. That's what fandom is all about!

Day 7: Free Day!

Umm...so does this mean we write our own prompt or this is the prompt 😅

Option 1:

Eldritch God!Anakin who has discovered the ability to morph into a Krayt dragon-like creature with ancient runes all over himself. He morphs mid-battle when someone hurts Rex and now every trooper is looking at their captain. Like Rex kisses that man. Does this mean the captain is a monsterfucker?

Option 2:

(Free Day + Rain)

They rarely get free days, and on Kamino of all places. Yet here they are. Anakin wraps the scarf around their necks and watches with Rex as Ahsoka splashes in puddles with the younger cadets. For once they are children having fun. A peaceful moment in the raging sea of war.

Day 6: Weapons Exchange

Their weapons are an extension of one another. Rex cradles the lightsaber lovingly in his hand, listening carefully for its song and feels the thrum of Anakin's power. Anakin keeps the twin blaster pistols tucked safely in their holster. Jedi don't use blasters, but the honor of caring for Rex's outweighs that rule.

Day 5: Imperial AU

Saxon had forced Rex into joining the Empire. To restore the family honor, he'd said, that had been demolished with Jango's thoughtless deed. In reality it was the only way to keep his family alive. One son for the price of the whole clan. A power play.

"Another clone." Lord Vader does not seem pleased.

"No, sir. I'm Captain Fett, sir." Rex bows.

"Fett? You must be one of the sons then." Vader looks him over, giving every inch of his form attention. Rex shivers. "Interesting. Very interesting."

Anakin was trying to make a good first impression and this gala was just the way to do it. If only he could figure out the stupid clasps on this pauldron.

"Need some help?" Like the saint he is, Rex swans into the room helping adjust the armor piece and set it right. "There. You look good."

"Good enough to impress Jango it makes him forgets I'm a Jedi?" Anakin smiles hopefully. Rex laughs.

"Not that good, jetii."

Day 2: Sith AU

Sith-raised!Anakin falls head over heals for the pretty clone captain with blond curls. Like he tries so hard to impress Rex when they're in a battle and even harder to be on the field to meet him. Meanwhile Rex is having a crisis because why does Vader have such an interest in him. It's freaking him out to the point where he has to beg Kenobi to send him elsewhere during battles with Vader. It comes to a boiling point though when Vader sneaks onto the Negotiator and suddenly Ahsoka can't find Rex.

Day 1: Slave Brand

Anakin notices it not long after freeing the Togrutas from the Zygerrians. There on the back of Rex's neck are slave numbers. When Anakin first saw them most the men had to stay to one part of the Resolute for fear of crossing paths with the enraged Jedi knight. After three days of non-stop crashing sounds and two broken training rooms, Rex was fed up with his general's tantrum and goes to talk to him despite his brothers' worries. Hours later, Rex is wrapped in a Jedi robe, neck covered in lovebites and a sleeping Anakin contently curled up on his chest.
