            “right, damon mentioned the kids in the subtle way that damon always drops information.      didn’t mention the vampire part.”      she went a twinge of disappointment when he mentioned that he was supposed to meet up with something.      “oh okay.      i don’t want to make you cancel your plans but we should catch up sometime soon.”

Alaric rolled his eyes, “Of course he wouldn’t give me time to tell you, I would have bound to run into you without him telling you I was here. He doesn��t know I’m a vampire again actually. I haven’t talked to him in a bit.” He smiled at Jenna nodding his head, suddenly thinking about his girl who he was quite taken by. How was he ever supposed to tell Jenna that he’s involved with a girl who’s a doppelganger of her niece. Some things were meant to be kept a secret. He looked over her and sighed, all he’s done is lie to Jenna. He wasn’t sure if he could hide it, maybe just for a little while. “Sure I’d like to catch up sometime,” he leaned over and kissed her cheek. “Have a good day, alright? And please stay out of trouble.”

Tatia: I'm glad I found you when I did too Alaric. I came back to a world I didn't recognize, to a new reality... the only I knew were my daughter and the Mikaelson's... I don't know if I'd be where I am now without your help

Alaric: You're giving me a spare key to your apartment, you must love me.

Alaric: Getting mixed up with the Mikaelsons is tough most of the time, if they ever hurt you I'll make sure they pay, alright?

Alaric: I'm glad that I found you when I almost had no one, Caroline reunited with Stefan, Damon was who knows where, my daughter's are old enough to not need me.

Alaric smirked, “Well I’ve died a few times and am a vampire for the second time in my life, I’d say I have that to thank, and that my two daughter’s aren’t too stressful for me.” He looked at his watch and nodded, “I was supposed to be meeting up with someone soon. Unless you want to talk, she’d understand.”

it was getting late in new orleans but for lizzie that’s usually when the big money started coming out, town was more vibrant at night. she had slowed it down, strumming a calming ballad on her old but beloved guitar. for some reason tonight was quieter than most, a single person walking past just as she finished the melody. jokingly she decided to call out to them. 

“hey, don’t be cheap.”

Alaric stopped in the tracks and heard Lizzie’s voice, he turned to her and smiled, “You know me, I’ve always been sort of cheap.”

Alaric smiled at the woman he loved so long ago, a love lost too soon, but here she was back and a part of him could feel a sensation start up in his stomach just being in her presence. “It’s so very good to see you Jenna, it’s been so long.”

Alaric: Hey so I was thinking maybe we could get out of town for an evening. I booked a hotel and reservations and we can spend the night together. How does that sound?

Alaric was standing in front of a building just looking at a woman across the street, he shook his head and blinked a few times thinking he was seeing things, but once he realized he really was seeing Jenna in the flesh he made his way over towards her and stepped in front of her. “J-Jenna, is that you?”
