I love that in BM every location is described in great detail, especially the outdoors. There’s a paragraph describing the mountains in almost every chapter. Whereas the characters rarely get a description. The most we get is a detailed scar or someone’s race, except for the Judge. Almost every time the Judge is mentioned there’s also a mention of his appearance. Just subtly making the Judge feel like a force of nature.

God, Cormac McCarthy was a literary genius. I need to absorb all his writing prowess
