riley sighed heavily as he laid his head against the cool, wooden counter of the reception desk. he wanted to go out and explore the city, but the mere thought of the showcase made him too nauseous to move. “i can’t perform...” he mumbled to himself. glancing over, he spotted a familiar face. “hey!” he shouted at them, not bothering to lift his head. “hey, have you been out yet? is the city nice? eat any good food?”

looking up, riley forced a smile. “me? okay?” he felt a bit lightheaded and his stomach was in a knot, but he was fine. “nah, i’m good. thanks, though...” he bit his lip, looking away. “have you been to new york before, ms. marin?”
bobbie was walking around the plane, taking rounds and making sure that the students were okay. “how are you? are you okay? do you need anything?” she asked the person sitting down.

Riley was anxious for the trip. He played with his seatbelt, trying to ease his nerves. Then all at once, there was another student falling into the seat. “Oh. Uh, hey there?” He tries to help her up. “You okay there?”
Allison boarded the plane in her best dress. She feels like the odd one out since she was new. “Awkward."She stated quietly. Not watching where she’s going she falls into someone’s seat. "Sorry."She said.‘Not my day!'She thought.

hey guys, i’m mickey! this rp looks so cute and i’m really stoked to write with you all! this is riley, there’s a chuck of info about him under the read more. he needs friends like he needs air, so feel free to like this for plotting!
he was born and raised in los angeles. he’s 18, a senior, and a singing student
his dad is an attorney, while his mother specializes in interior design, he has one older sister who is studying at george town
his mom loves broadway, so riley grew up watching musicals – at the age of 7, he was danny zuko (from grease) for halloween, but he told everyone he was supposed to be some guy in a breaker gang (because he was too embarrassed to admit the truth)
he dreams of dropping a mixtape once he graduates and becoming a rapper who sings over 90′s samples – he basically wants to be a combination of chance the rapper and tyler joseph
he has a secret love for musicals, but could never imagine telling anyone or even auditioning for one. his favorite is rocky horror picture show – when he was younger, he constantly watched it and sung along (he even stole his sister’s red dress once, but that’s another story)
he’s an innocent cinnamon roll really, it takes a lot to get him riled up – he’s so chill and he genuinely tries to get along with everyone ("because why not?")
he does come off as indifferent or dispassionate sometimes, that’s because he can be so lazy (more often than not) – he loves to have a good time and will pick partying or just hanging out over doing work
