I honestly feel the same. Especially when everyone already has long-term friends that they've known for years. Outside of school, how the hell do people make friends??? Even when I do make them, they don't make the same effort I make to maintain said friendship. It's so isolating to be a friendless adult. I feel like I'm missing out on so much.

Me too. I didn’t have many friends in high school and now I don’t have any as an adult. I feel like I missed out on the experience of having a group of friends or even a best friend to hang out with. When I do try, I don’t get the same energy back. I don’t even desire a bunch of friends, just one. Just one friend is all I wish for.

Haven’t been on this account in ages but I need to vent. It is so isolating and depressing having no friends. I literally have 0. I have no one to talk to on a daily basis and I feel like I’m losing my mind. I have no one to share my interests with, no one to rant to, no one to connect with. It’s hard making irl friends because I work an isolating job and I don’t even know how to approach making friends on the internet. I don’t know what to do.
