Indefinite Hiatus

This blog and it’s many others will be going into hiatus.Thank you all for your support until this point. I feel the need for a masterlist is no longer needed for the RP Community. 

As much as I would like to help people find other's and grow as a roleplayer I don't nearly have as much time and energy. I hope you all can understand. 

Wherever life may take you, I hope for the best.

Made some adjustments to the masterlist. I doubt that the masterlist will reach the 1000 cap due to the API limit after giving it some reflection.

Restrictions to OC and Multimuse blogs with series outside of Rick and Morty has been lifted.

The masterlist itself has the spacing modified, even though the avatar is smaller it will be able to display more muses for those who are multimuse. Also made some internal modifications to make improve how the filter works.

Been trying to check and import old blog urls to see who is active or not on tumblr and found out the following. . . 

390 Blogs are Deactivated/Moved.

14 Blogs are in Dashboard only mode.

310 Blogs have been inactive for 1+ years.

16 Blogs have been inactive for 6+ months.

5  Blogs have been inactive for 1+ month.

16 still active from the old masterlist.

Apparently, API cannot read when when someone was last online if they are in dashboard only. I’ll unfortunately need to remove them from the masterlist as it won’t be able to tell when they are active or not.

Sorry, this blog was dead for probably a year or two now. I’ve been working on trying to get a sheet working that can check for active blogs to make it easier to tell whom you can probably interact with for roleplays.

Finally got the place revamped and set up along with the other masterlists similar to this one. Hopefully, it doesn’t take too long for me to check over the old blogs to see how many of them are even still active.

Anyways, regardless if you are new or returning. . . hope you are having a great time roleplaying <3

Sloppy Update

Sadly, I haven’t figured out all the kinks with the new spreadsheet to make it work as I wanted to. I’m kind of trying to reorganize myself, so updating this blog will be on the backburner. 

Apologies, that it has been probably a year or two since this blog was properly updated. Hopefully, eventually in the future I can get this thing back up again.

I might want to be more careful when it comes to calling things from Tumblr’s API. At best I might be able to call every 6 hours at worst probably updated once a day. But outside of that the masterlist is around 500+ but only about 40+ is still active. Time sure flies. 

Anyways, hopefully this updated version of the masterlist makes it easier to tell which roleplayers are still active just to make life a little easier when it comes to trying to interact with someone new.

On the bright side it means I have only one list to maintain vs the old system of having two different versions all the time.

It might take a while roll this out since I’m attempting to manually check the blogs and sifting through some that are no longer Rick and Morty RP blogs, archived, etc.

Plus this version might not be as reliable when it comes to figuring out which blogs moved/renamed. The 404 was my old way of checking for dead blogs. 

At least Rick and Morty will return to us in a matter of months so there is looking forward to that. 

Took a long while but I figured out how to get the darn thing to sort based on last updated. Sadly, this means the “Active Masterlist” will be put out of order permanently and moved entirely towards Google Sheets.

.: Personal Update

The best I can decipher is that the blogroll always had its own way of sorting but it no longer sorts based on last updated. There is part of the API that has an update code in the form of Apoche Time but it might take some time to figure out how to make the theme read that code to properly sort again and if not then try to get the google sheets able to read and sort as well as possibly convert Apoche Time to more readable numbers. However, this might take some time to figure out given I don’t have much experience when it comes to programming.

However, at this time I have school commitments and another project I wish to put more focus towards. I won’t be able to focus on the masterlist for quite some time. Then again, I did left the masterlist idle for like a few months before and it didn’t completely crashed and died. 

Anyways, point I’m trying to say is I’m busy and I’ll come back in hopefully a month to figure out maserlist stuff.

Apparently the (Active Masterlist) is not working properly in displaying the most recent blogs and I’m not sure how long it has been the case. It may take a long while until I can figure out the cause of the issue or at least find an alternative. 

I’m also trying to clean up the list slowly behind the scenes and if I manage to finish it, I’ll make another update detailing the changes.

.: Active Masterlist - Update

Just a short update to let you all know that the Active Masterlist’s icons weren’t showing up properly. It should be visible now. I’m not sure how long the issue was there. 

As you can tell. . . this blog isn’t updated as often as it used to. Apologies if the last updates from about a few months back were misleading in terms of the condition of the blog in terms of being more active.

As for the future of the blog, I’ll try to be a tad more proactive in terms of answering asks quickly. However, the Active Masterlist’s character tabs might not be updated for a few months.

Sorry, I haven’t touched this blog in a long time. So kinda as per usual. . . Rick-EXE is now following u and you are now added to the kinda broken looking Active Masterlist. Apparently something with Tumblr changed and all the avatars are broken. As for writing more info, its in the submission box.
