A massive musical/sound project made as an auditory representation of the stages of dementia, meant to bring a new level of understanding to the horrors of the illness, turned into a meme, a Tik Tok trend, a fucking mod to a funny cutesy rhythm game, etc. It’s so damn disrespectful to such a horrifying work of art about a very serious topic.

I’m not saying you have to love or even like EATEOT, or anything in The Caretaker, I’m not saying you have to understand it or even listen to it (I myself haven’t listened to the whole thing at the time of writing this, and listening to it is a massive undertaking in itself). All I’m saying is that you should respect the subject matter. It’s not hard.
