hi i want to address this really quick! i was going to leave it but i did want this person to know that i am aware of the ask! i also blurred out the person they believed it was because i did read their works and i did not see it to be true! i appreciate people coming to me for things like this, truly its a nice feeling to know that i’d have people on my side were this to happen, truly truly truly!

i just want to make this clear though, not all weird girl or funny texts are copying or plagiarism! (this is not at all a negative call out to anon, i love u for this) sure, inspiration is a thing that many writers and creators use for their own works but that doesn’t always equate copying or plagiarism. this is pertaining to my works, at the least. ive been very wrongly accused of this before and it was an ugly feeling, it truly left a bad taste in me with this fandom haha

and at least, on my part, in what i write? i do not need credits of aaaaany sort for weird girl 😭 you read my weird girl and want to start your own? by all means, do it!!!!! i encourage it!!! but you don’t HAVE to ‘credit’ me. i did not come up with this insert at alllll!!!! i used to write my “quirky” and “manic pixie girl” and “not like other girls” characters in all the fandoms ive been in(shoutout to my one direction fanfic that was such a cringe manic pixie girl insert. i think about you often✊), its always been a thing in many many fandoms and literature!!!!! so if you feel awkward just slapping an @ on your account, i mean it, im GOOD!😭

if you see word for word copying , then please, send that to me!! 100% that’s wrong!! but if it’s just similar? if it’s just funny texts? i, personally, don’t see anything wrong with it! which, that’s the case here! the person that was sent truly did not copy me in anyway! the texts were silly and fun! and my texts are silly and fun! that’s genuinely the only correlation i see! and ive had the luck in this fandom that no one’s truly plagiarized me and im grateful! this is not copying imo!

another writer might feel differently though. i can not stress enough, my beliefs aren’t everyone’s! so respect each other and your art! to each their own!
