The Neighbourhood
This is the more residential side of the Centro neighbourhood. Michelle and I went biking around this neighbourhood one day and it was really interesting to see how a lot of the locals to the neighbourhood lived. Obviously there is a lot in this picture, so we didn’t see it all, but from what we did see it was great. There is so much to this city and I can’t wait to get back to explore some more…

By The Beach
I love being down by the beach. When I shot this photo I was out for a bike ride, so I didn’t actually end up on the beach, but being near by is just as good for me. I rode my bike for miles along this beach that day and I was loving it. If you find yourself in Mazatlán I highly recommend biking long the beach. One tip I’ll give you is to keep in mind you have to bike back the way you came,…

More Sunsets Please
Sunsets are beautiful just about anywhere, but I especially like them over the Pacific Ocean. And even better yet, viewed from Mazatlán! Michelle and I were just out for a walk when we caught this one. I’m glad I had my camera with me because this one was a beauty. Thanks for stopping by, Rob

The Golden Zone
This part of town in Mazatlán is called “The Golden Zone” or as I like to call it, “The Gringo Zone” lol. There are a bunch of nice hotels, resorts and obviously beaches around here. I only went over here a couple times because I prefer something that feels a little more Mexican. But I will say, there is plenty of good stuff over there too. As for this photo, I shot it from the other side of…

Mercado Pino Suárez
This market is actually pretty huge. I didn’t take too many pictures in here because when I was here, I was mostly there to shop or eat. There are some resultants on the 2nd floor and the main floor is all shopping. There are loads of souvenir shops and plenty of clothing and whatever else. This side that these pictures are from has a lot of fresh vegetable stands and there are even a bunch of…

Calavera Jail
I love Calavera art so much. When I noticed these little skeletons sitting on the bars I had to get a picture. Obviously the little skeletons are not actually in jail, just sitting on the bars of what I think was an art studio if I remember correctly. It was either that or an art school. I’ll have to get a better look next time because I’m sure they got some great art in there. Thanks for…

More Beach
There is plenty of beach to go around for everyone in Mazatlán. Some areas of the beach will have plenty of people, but if you just go down the beach a little further you will surely find an empty part of the beach if that’s what you prefer. Something for everyone really. As you can see from the second picture there is also plenty of building going on right now in Mazatlán. Even with all the new…

Night Shopping
So much shopping going on at Plazuela Machado at night. We bought a few things from here while we were there. I love these types of places and when they are done right they are so much fun. This place was great, plenty of food around, lots of interesting things/souvenirs to buy and the people were just a joy to be around. I’m looking forward to returning on our next visit. Thanks for stopping…

Strings of Lights
Walking around Centro Historico at night in Mazatlán is so beautiful. There are all these strings of lights hanging between the buildings. The lights light up the streets and create such a wonderful ambiance to the city. When I’m walking around these streets I feel like I am in a movie and it’s a feeling absolutely love. Thanks for stopping by, Rob

Everyday Street
I love this street so much! I think I probably walked down this exact stretch of this street at least once a day while I was in Mazatlán. If not everyday, pretty darn close to it. Mazatlán is filled with beautiful streets to explore, but this one was probably my favourite. It’s just as beautiful at night, but sadly I didn’t’ get any nigh shots here. I’ll definitely shoot some long exposures…

Mirador Paseo Centenario
Michelle and I walked around Mazatlán SOOO MUCH! This was one of the days where we walked around a lot. This particular walk was rather rewarding because we got to experience some beautiful views and met some wonderful people along the way. I shot this photo of Michelle sitting on the ledge at Mirador Paseo Centenario, which translates to Centenario Walk Viewpoint. We only ended up walking by…

Mosaic Mazatán
I love this sign and I love the street it’s on. This sign is right across the street from the beach. While we were in Mazatlán our apartment was on this street, but just like 5 minutes or so down the street. Our building was just around the bend by that cliff of the second picture. Anyhow, the sign is beautiful and so is the beach. In fact the whole city is beautiful and I highly recommend going…

Dancing Lady
While out for dinner one night this lady was also dining at the restaurant we were at. There was a live band at this restaurant and at one point this lady jumped up and started dancing! It was amazing. She was just loving life and living it up. I didn’t take a picture of her at that time because I was dining at that moment and not taking pictures. Fast forward about 45 minutes later and we are…

A Night in Mazatlán
When we decided to go to Mazatlán I knew I wanted to shoot this photo. Before we even got to Mazatlán I even knew where I was going to shoot this photo from and how to get there. This photo was planed about a month in advance. I love pictures like this because I enjoy being out at night and I like to capture the city at night. Things are so much different at night, there’s a while different vibe…

Painters Studio
I was at another art gallery in Mazatlan, just walking around and enjoying the paintings. The cool part of this place was there was a studio attached to the gallery and there were a bunch of artists painting in there. I dunno if it was some type of art school or what, but it was really cool to see the painters at and seeing the final products in the gallery area. Thanks for stopping by, Rob

A Beach in Mazatlán
I actually have no idea what this beach is called. But there was a lot of people around and it seemed to be one of the more popular areas of the beach. In Mazatlán the beach stretches for miles! Some parts busier than others and this was defiantly one of the more popular areas. I honestly didn’t spend a lot of time on the beach while I was there. Maybe next time I’ll have to make a point of…

Art Dog
I was at this art gallery in Mazatlan just taking a look around. I saw a lot of beautiful paintings, but it wasn’t the art that really caught my eye that night. As I was leaving I couldn’t help but notice this dog. The dog noticed me too and I feel like he wanted to come and say hi, but clearly unable to. I didn’t want to bother the lady while she was enjoying the paintings, so I just took a…
