Val pulls back for something as simple as a breath. And Vox chases, he chases without a hint of the coy playfulness that should come with such an act.

...Suddenly, as much as Val loves to pretend, it's not a joke anymore. Like a wild fire tamed to a little candle, sheepish, yet alive all the same. Pretty, and dim compared to it's previous rage; quivering to break at the smallest gust of wind, were hands not bound to encasing it's heart. Hands that Vox replaces with his own, that cup rather than enclose, admire rather than hide, and love instead of fear.

And Valentino is in awe. That such a merciless, cruel bigot like Vox would both show his own red, beating heart to him like this, and tend so gently to Valentino's own in the same breath. In the same kiss. In the same deep, helpless look in his eye that turns Val's world and his insides upside down.

They've gone from heated to slow, from mindless to curious, from nothing to everything. —And Valentino can't quite bring himself to lament any of it.

i absolutely love your artstyle and the colors of the vox and val comic, the one where vox still had a tube tv for a head! how did you go about picking the colors? sorry if this is a weird question, haha

Omggg!! that's such an insane compliment to me, I've struggled with colors so much for so long and I'm only just beginning to get the hang of em, I'm incredibly honored you like it so much!!

As for picking colors, this is the post that made me begin to understand how to properly begin picking em out. I'll typically have a starting color I like, and go from there! Everything else I do is gradient after gradient of varying effects, blurs, and grain texture LOL

The level of excitement I got from your Vees doodle allowed me to vertically leap directly into the sun. I will not re-reach the earths atmosphere for about 3-5 business days. Also before I burn up apon re-entry; do you do commissions?

IM CRYING Pls make sure to have your leaping permit approved before launching, else we won't be able to properly send a search party in the occasion you get lost up there.

Your how does Vox drink comic is so good! The colors, his antennas, the little wires on the back of his head! His outfit is so cute, and all of his facial expressions are gold. The way he perks up when he gets the chance to infodump about himself (and it really doesn't seem like bragging here, he just thinks his weird hell body is neat!) And Val's outfit, not all wrapped up in his wings!

The vees all strike me as overly self-assured in that sense, whether it be to make up a lack of real self-love, or absolute denial of their own flaws~ UwU
