I noticed this question asked for Tac and Tic, though how could you help Tou or Snap if they're having a attack? And if they have any tics that are harmful to themselves? Not sure on Tou, though i saw the post and artwork about how Snaps tics are more aggressive then yours and the others. - Simps? Anon

Tou doesn't need any help really. not that the others need it, but you know what i mean. he gets the least SH tics out of everyone, and he's almost always wearing his gloves, which helps with the often repetitive impact of snapping/clapping/hitting things. he takes good care of himself for the most part, so the most you can do is try not to trigger them any worse (avoiding interacting with him while he's having an attack), and when it is over, if he seems tired, help him rest. cuddles should do the trick there. (he can't refuse them.) his voice may be sore too, so maybe get him some water/tea. he can do that himself, but it's a nice gesture that is very appreciated. lastly, he can be self-conscious about his coprolalia, so be sure he knows you don't mind his swearing.

Snaps on the other hand, gets more SH tics than any of the boys that are out atm. the best you can do for him if he's hurting himself is get his boss, Rice. he can prevent him from hurting himself, and even stop the tic attack entirely if he needs to, but it is usually best to let it play out. Rice will take care of any damage he may have done to himself, but you can still give him those post tic attack cuddles and kisses (and whatever else you both might be up to :3). do not try and do what Rice does in 'preventing him from hurting himself', he is a professional, you will only get yourself hurt, and make it worse. the best you can do instead, is toss him some soft blankets/pillows he can use. (Kelek's comfy objects are best for this, as they have relaxing/comforting magic in them, and can calm the tic attack a bit.)

Humongous data breach just happened, with loads upon loads of sites being affected. Tumblr's among those. Also on the list is Wattpad for you fanfic people out there- among many, many other places.

There's a searchable list at the bottom of the article. Highly recommend scrolling or searching through, seeing what places you may be on that have been affected, and securing all your accounts. This thing's kind of big.

If you know people on any of the sites affected, let them know about this too, and spread the article around.

Imagine Skull gets a job on a food delivery app. It doesn’t require much social interaction since the people ordering it are usually trying to avoid in-person contact anyway. The staff at restaurants he frequents get used to him after a while and just silently hand him the order instead of getting scared or trying to engage him in conversation.

Papyrus often drives him since he isn’t able to, and he’s more than happy to help since it’s keeping Skull active. On the occasions when he can’t get a ride, Skull will only take orders within walking distance. Luckily he lives near some apartment complexes and small shopping areas with restaurants and fast food joints, so while the orders are scarce, he usually gets enough to keep busy.

It’s great. He only works when he wants to and sometimes he and Papyrus will get a free meal when someone screws up an order (or won’t answer the door after seeing a giant skeleton with a hole in his head through their peephole). Plus, knowing he’s bringing people food satisfies some deep ~provider~ instincts within him.

And those instincts go absolutely bonkers when he sees you.

It’s one of those days where Papyrus is busy, so Skull is on his own. He gets an order from one of the closer apartment complexes, and follows his usual routine for a “leave at the door” order. He’ll go a short distance away, out of obvious view, where he can watch and make sure the customer gets their food. He knows how important food is, so he’s very careful with deliveries. Always makes sure everything stays warm and not a drop is spilled.

Skull moves to stand in a dark area down the hall and waits.

After a moment, you appear. You poke your head out of the open door and take a quick cursory glance around. How do the delivery people always disappear so quickly?? You see the bag he left to the side of the door and do what Skull has heard referred to as a “happy food dance” before scooping up the bag and disappearing inside. He feels a tug on his soul.

Skull. Is. Smitten.

You were so… cute? People are usually happy when their food arrives, but for some reason you left a distinct impression on him. He can’t get you out of his head. Did you eat enough? Was the food good? Do you need more?

It’s now his personal mission to make sure he’s the one providing for you. Any time you place an order, it’s immediately accepted by a delivery person whose name appears on the app as “Skeleman.” And you order food…a lot. If you had any shame it might be considered embarrassing. When Skeleman starts delivering your food, more often than not you end up with an extra bag of goodies that you didn’t order. Your deliveries have never been so prompt (cut to Skull standing in a restaurant staring intensely into the kitchen at the cooks to make sure everything is prepared and packaged PERFECTLY. They work extra quickly to get him out of there. And now, the restaurants you frequently order from have a Pavlovian anxiety response to seeing your name pop up on the order screen).

You’ve messaged “Skeleman” to joke about how they must be tired of getting your orders all the time, or to ask questions about getting food you didn’t order. Sometimes they don’t respond (Skull is panicking), but when they do their messages are short and sweet.

“no. not tired of your orders.”

“thought you would like it.”

“no problem. i will bring you anything you want.”

This “Skeleman” seems a little… strange, but earnest. Oh well, you’re not going to complain about free food and immaculate delivery.

Skull meanwhile is overjoyed when you message him, talk to him, thank him… You’re so sweet it makes his soul ache. As if protecting and providing for you wasn’t a given. You’re his mate, after all. Now he just has to figure out how to get you to understand that.

You know, an interesting tumblr transformation that's happened gradually, and which I've seen no one talk about: ask-culture has essentially dropped off to nothing.

By which I mean, asks used to be WAY more of the tumblr economy. They used to be more common to send, and receive, and see. They were integral to the collaborative, forum-like behavior of old tumblr communities, not even to speak on the HUGE number of ask-blogs that used to exist to only be interacted with in ask-form.

I'm not saying this in a vying-for-attention way but instead in an observational way: I used to get way way more asks in like 2015, even with a fraction of my follower count. I wonder if it's due to the homogenization of social media sites? There's a lot more of this divide between "content creator" and "consumer" instead of just a bunch of peer blogs who would talk to each other. "Asks" aren't really a thing on twitter, are they? And as I understand it, the closest thing to an "ask" on instagram or tiktok would be a creator screenshotting some comment and responding to it in a new reel or video or whatever those content mediums are. Are asks just too tumblr-specific? Is that aspect of the site culture dying out as more and more people converge to using all their social media sites in the same way?
